UConn looks damn near unstoppable. They are just dominant.

I’m not shocked Clemson beat Arizona, Arizona had it easy playing in the cupcake PAC 12, while Clemson has had some impressive wins this year, including beating NC in Chapel Hill. If NC wins tonight they’ll meet again for a trip to the Final Four

went to the acc tourney late 70s in Greensboro.highlight of the tourney was gene banks dunking over Ralph Sampson badly.only 1 acc team went to the ncaa tourney back then.

Had to be 1980 ACC tournament or later... Sampson was at Virgina from 79/80 to 82/83 seasons.

Virgina did not make 1980 NCAA tourney... they were #1 seed in 81-83 tourneys making it to Final Four 1 time.

Tournament had already expanded to 48 teams in 1979, in the 1980 NCAA tourney there were already multiple ACC teams.
