Cousins was playing great last year. He also got hurt last year and is only 5 months younger than Matt Stafford. Falcons have a young team and Cousins will not be around for the young players to be veterans. There is a chance this ends up like Carr to the Saints.Cousins was playing great last year. I think getting Cousins is a better option than drafting a QB like McCarthy/Nix/Penix who might very well be a bust. Cousins is a proven solid QB who can provide consistency at the position and that’s what the Falcons need right now - the NFC South is probably the weakest division in the NFL and by getting Cousins the Falcons are probably the favorites to win it - their D improved a lot last year and they have talented offensive players.
