Yeah a chart of cap space this time of year is incredibly limited because of all the cap manipulation techniques these GMs can engage in. All those over the cap teams will be able to restructure deals to free up space to address needs on their football team and resign their own FAs.The large cap increase is good for Philly, and other teams that structure contracts with balloon payments.
They will restructure every year. The Browns cap number will be a myth for the next 2-3 years. Last year they were near the bottom and ended up top 3. Same this year
Depends what he is asking. I dont think he is worth what he is asking. Teams will plenty of cap will take the riskDolphins planning to release Xavien Howard from what I hear. He’s a good corner, will be interesting to see where he lands.
the problem with that is they still will be paying Watson to sit on his couch. Kinda like now. They should cut Watson and go with elite, ageless Joe Flacco.
I am up for that if they didn’t incur a ton of dead capThey should cut Watson and go with elite, ageless Joe Flacco.
At least now he has a chance to play IF he doesn’t get injured. If they cut him they still pay him lolthe problem with that is they still will be paying Watson to sit on his couch. Kinda like now.
Nevermind I retract my statement. They could cut Watson & all would be the same. Except that other Qbs will get more time practicing with the team.
Hear me out: what if Justin Jefferson could be had on the trade block for a Vikings team in the middle of nowhere and a FA cousins, what would it take to acquire Jefferson…Top two FA WR, Higgins and Evans, won’t be FA’s.

Mmm, I’d go hard draft before Ridley tbh.The wife wants the Chiefs to get Ridley.
No chance the Vikings trade Jefferson - he’s the best receiver in the NFL IMO. Even with a good, deep receiving class in the draft, it’s not easy to find a receiver as talented as Jefferson. The Vikings need to figure out their QB situation but if they have good QB play they are a playoff contending team IMO.Hear me out: what if Justin Jefferson could be had on the trade block for a Vikings team in the middle of nowhere and a FA cousins, what would it take to acquire Jefferson…
There are about 10 teams right now where you really can't make too many predictions and the Chiefs are one of them.Mmm, I’d go hard draft before Ridley tbh.
Hollywood Brown I’d be open to on the FA side of things. This WR/OT group looks good. 1 good one should fall to 32.
I would think at least one 1st round pick then you are going to have to give him guarantees for multiple years (per sources) and $30M a year. Seems pretty steep. Only a handful of teams would do it and would it be worth it if they are rebuilding...Hear me out: what if Justin Jefferson could be had on the trade block for a Vikings team in the middle of nowhere and a FA cousins, what would it take to acquire Jefferson…
Does Minny just want cap relief and picks. Common sense says yeah. Are they finally going for the rebuild type of season? If not maybe you can throw in a young and/or a player with a high cap hit along with a pick. At least that way you will shed some salary knowing you have to pay JJ a shit ton.I would think at least one 1st round pick then you are going to have to give him guarantees for multiple years (per sources) and $30M a year.
