The Vikings didtrue but weren't guaranteed to land the guy in FA either. Synder and Allen screwed this team over in that situation.

Skinsdad is right.
Think about the wentz situation. We were then only idiots to bid on him and bid against ourselves. The rest of the league was willing to wait. My guess is we would have been the only team to sign him anyways. He was out-of the league hunting bears until week 10 this year.
Rivera also screwed the team as well.
The Vikings did
Sadly enough, I am glad cousins got away. I liked him and thought he was a good player.very true

I always liked the guy. He deserved better than what Allen and snyder offered.
Thank goodness Wilson said no to coming here. I believe he flat out rejected any discussions.what is RR pulled off the R Wilson trade? that would have been worst than CW

No they didn’t because KC at the time was a one yr rentalyes and the other teams lost out

Who?Fine but they could have done business with another team to trade KC. Why would Gruden bring it up?
Who?
Dean, you keep saying if “they” really wanted him…..who is they? Why would anyone (other than Dan Snyder) trade for a player that is about to be a free agent? Why would they give any draft capital for such a trade. Remember, he was a one year rental at that point.if they really wanted him, they could have offered. For example Sweat was traded for a 2nd on his last year of his deal. If the Bears waited until he hit FA they could of lost him
Oh, I’m sure he was available. Dan and george didn’t want him.i dont know. Could have been made available for trade
more impressed with him than maye.
