I believe this explanation. He changed what he wanted to say mid sentence.

I'm surprised he didn't listen to a recording right afterwards, to confirm how it came out.

Anytime I leave a voice mail, I always listen to the playback first, if I'm able to, to make sure I was audible, and to make sure I didn't forget anything.

I don’t know why he brought up his family at all other than to say that he’ll miss them because he basically said I’m a family man, but I want to leave town to play away from them because I’m a family man. It didn’t seem to make sense. I think that he was trying to say that he, wanted to play basketball that he would even leave his family, but he said in the way that sounded like he was talking about how he loved his family. I’m not really judging him on leaving or them staying in Los Angeles, but I just thought it was funny for me to mention it like that.

I think that you would find interesting that he played 81 games against the Spurs when you take regular season and playoffs. Should’ve been 82, oh well. You could put almost a whole season together on that and see how well he does. And that should be good indication because the playoffs would be trying to stop him because he was often the best player on his teams.

I like this guy‘s answers. He didn’t blame his agent for giving him pipe dreams of higher than 65 million for five years. He didn’t just say he was chasing a championship. He acknowledged that more money would be great, but he will live and learn. Some people will see that as negative and resigned, but I see that it’s just answering the question honestly. I haven’t seen other interviews, and he may later say the wrong thing, but I am glad that he didn’t say that his agent saw that he was going to get elsewhere and then flopped. I guess that’s implied, I’m just so used to people saying things they’re not supposed to say from the get-go these days compared to before.

I mean, he does say that there was a lot going on behind the scenes and that could be throwing someone under the bus somewhere or implying something bad in Miami, but I could read most things negatively if I want to.

So did he pass on the Heat's offer because he thought he could get more?

I don’t know, he said it was multiple factors, a lot behind the scenes, and other things that he’ll learn from. But if offered a lot that doesn’t suggest that he did something wrong. But he didn’t say it was an organizational problem, either.

Congrats to LeBron and Bronny scoring the most points for father son duo in the NBA.

The Stocktons should probably be 11th or 12th on that list. Incidentally, the old Delta center capacity was 19,911 in Stockton scored 19,711 points. Too bad he didn’t score 200 more.

It would have been cool if he went to the free throw line 200 more times, and made all 200 attempts.

Not sure what this thread is for, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out before the end of the season.

How many assists will Bronny James have to LeBron James this season? How many will LeBron James have to Bronny James?

You figured out what the thread is for. Great job.

I started my own thread, not remembering that you started one yourself. So when I started it, I inserted that comment about not knowing what it was for as a joke because it’s obvious given the title and the fact that we’ve done it for years. However, I don’t know why I put a season the year to it when I typically keep it as just the “Around the League Thread“ and then only add a year when the year is over.
