A WS with a grand total of 1 trophy between the two organizations. When was the last time we had so little hardware represented in the Fall Classic?

I mean, go back far enough then lots. This is how they build hardware.

I know the ratings will suck but to me this is fun, with newbies on the stage, and teams that have never or almost never won.

They've outperformed expectations since I became a fan in 1976. It was just those 97 years before that....

1981 they were solid too. They took the division from the Phillies in that goofy split season playoff but then lost to the Dodgers in the NLCS.
They were loaded in 1982 as well but back then you had to win the division.
