Dude, this is exhausting.

There definitely missed calls.

But, not why you got swept.

I know you love your team and this doesn’t feel great.

But, as a fellow ref troll….

Let go, let GAWD.
Lol I’m not the one creating the content. There’s thousands of comments like these on Twitter. The opinion of majority of laker fans is Denver got the favorable whistles and non whistles. Those 2 plays there’s probably 20 or more just like that across the series. Denver is a good team and yeah it’s not only reason they lost but it had a hand in it. They are good enough you can’t beat them and the bad calls too

Big congratulations to the Denver Nuggets and their fans for reaching the Finals.

They absolutely deserved it and in my opinion they will be favorites to win the whole thing.

And as a Lakers fan, while I am disappointed to being swept, at the end of the day it has been a pretty successful season IMO considering where they were just a few months ago.

Rob has a lot of work to do in the off-season but I have full faith in him.

Definitely a factor.

The thing is, the Lakers have no cap room, no picks to deal, and no player assets to trade. There's no real way to upgrade the team significantly...except paying a ton of tax to sign Kyrie. It's a massive gamble but most big moves are, and I don't think there's enough to run it back and expect a title as we just saw. AD is brittle and not that guy, LeBron is aging in front of us, etc.
We have this upcoming pick at 19. Plus the '29 pick....unless the FO refuses to deal it.

Meh

I'm not huge on Reaves (in terms of him being a big contract player) but to say he's nowhere near Poole is kinda ridiculous to me.

He didn’t say as a player.

Reaves has been the better player this year.

He simply said skill.

And I am not sure I disagree with the comment.

Poole has an amazing skill set. His issue is decision making and defense. Reaves is super solid on decision making especially.

He only played 47+ minutes scoring 40 pt near triple double in a WCF game. Damn old timer.

They have this year's first to trade during the draft, still have that 2029. They have their exceptions to use this summer.

They're not a complete team (still need that shooter and some backcourt d), but naysaying about a 13th seed at the deadline that just lost in the conference finals is a bit much. The team still has room to grow with the pieces currently in place.

The one thing that irked me about Reaves (and many of the Lakers) is that they still felt the need to celebrate made threes as they were struggling and trailing. Get a sense of the moment please...

If there was any silver lining to the Warriors losing to the Lakers, it was that the Warriors would have gotten absolutely smoked by the Nuggets. Might have got one game if everything went right. But that's about it.

This series was just an indication of how much retooling the Warriors (and the rest of the Western Conference) need to do in order to stay in contention. Nuggets were highly impressive.

New CBA rules will limit what you can bring back.

You need to trick someone into taking Beasley or D’Lo in a sign in trade.

The salary slots for those picks do nothing to help you bring back a difference maker.

Even a guy like Buddy.

You would need to match salary.

Why would the Pacers want either of those guys?

Maybe for the picks.

But, those extensions have to be palatable.

Maybe a 1 +1 with a team option could get it done.

Right, he can probably do that for an entire playoffs next year, good call

Not getting much for those

OK nevermind then, Lakers are serious contenders next year. This sweep was just a blip.

I know.

I see the content everywhere.

But, guess what?

The bad calls went both ways.

You spamming us with this wont change the outcome and likely won’t change anyone’s opinion.

It’s a message board and you have Just as much right as the rest of us to post what you want.

I was you just a few short weeks ago.

But, at the request of others, I toned it down.

I can’t tell you what to do.

But, if you are going to do this don’t tell it slant.

Calls, and non calls, went your way to.

You lost to a better team.

Through three Western Conference Finals games, only one has included a Last Two Minute Report with admitted missed calls from the NBA. Game 1 had a clean Last Two Minute Report, and Game 3 was not close enough to produce one, but the NBA did admit several missed calls in Game 2 of this series.

According to the NBA, there were four missed calls in the final two minutes of Game 2, three of which disadvantaged the Nuggets, and one that disadvantaged the Lakers.

@shopson67

Why would the Rox do this?

Reaves is obviously more mature.

But, he isn’t better than Porter Jr, who they have at 20 mil next year.

This is the real threat to the Lakers.

They can have max space.

But, what fool would give it to Reaves?
