Agree.
I just think it’s funny that people are assuming his words are being taken out of context.
Maybe watch his presser, read his quotes before deciding.
I don’t believe he is retiring.
I think he’s a drama queen and we will get a whole ass summer of Brady until the Lakers do whatever he is trying to pressure them into doing.
Nevertheless, this is only a story because Lebron made it one.
Absolutely.More or less standard Lebron operating procedure
seattle?Off topic but only one Major League Baseball team has never been to their finals/World Series....know which?
Why would Indy do that?Turner would be my preference
He wants to play with his son. Gotta stick it out two more yearsHe used the word retirement.
right, the question was if you could keep them together, not divide them on 4 different teams.I don't recall any of those players getting close to any finals elsewhere. Lakers already have 1 championship with AD and a second trip to the WCF. Randle is playing his way off the Knicks (especially at playoff time), Kuzma is chasing a new contract/role that I don't know that he will get, Ball is a mystery at this point due to injuries, etc. Hart has proven himself a winning role player, but has not yet found a team to get him to a championship. Ingram is the big ticket player, but even he has been torpedoed by Zion's inability to get on the floor consistently.
Has to make sure he stays relevant in the offseason. I'd say no chance he retires.Sounded the same to me
beat me to it. Wants to stay relevant in offseason.Attention whore.
Now we have to listen to the will he won’t he for the entire fucking summer.
Larry David.....seinfeld episode.Don't feel like going back through comments. Who's the douchebag in the cape?
Nobody believes this shit.He wants to play with his son. Gotta stick it out two more years

Maybe...but more likely he wants attention however he can get it. Retire...leave LA, etc.Until he uses the word retirement, nobody should be reading that in to what he was saying.
That comment was very vague.
And given the history, more likely he is thinking of a change of scenery than retirement.
We shall see.
I don't think that's on his radar but if it was I disagree. At least if at 39 he's a main reason that team wins the title. If he forced a trade and won a title I feel like that one would be pretty hollow
A title is a title but damn... in terms of GOAT talk I don't think it would move the needle
Lebron is a calculating Dude.I just don't see him ending his career with a sweep. I'm sure he's disappointed. But give it some time and the sting of this loss won't be as bad.
