I disagree because he said this immediately after being eliminated. I think he was honestly disgusted with AD

Beasley, Christie and the 19th pick. Pick a player for whatever team we make a trade with.

Turner would be my preference

Jokic is a class act. Was tied up last night but read today that he defended the choice of Embiid for MVP. He and Butler have been the best players in these playoffs.
He also raved about Lebron and what he did in this series at his age.

You got Beasley Christie and that first to make a deal happen.

You need a shooter and a center

I meant at the deadline this year that Lebron would be upset about?

I'm not sure Christie is going to be packaged, he'll be needed as a low cost rotational player to continue to groom.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I was entirely against the pick at first, but after funbags talked me off the ledge and the news I keep hearing about his drive and work ethic from rookie camp then hearing the story of working with his receivers at 1am in the hotel parking lot the night before rookie camp I am leaning more towards, let's see what he can do.
We can talk about his athleticism, arm talent but 90% of it is going to come down to that work ethic and if he is mentally strong. Obviously mechanics and all that is important but when push comes to shove will he work his ass off and will he stay mentally strong in those times of adversity. You just never really know. I’ve said he would be a bust for awhile but it’s just a guess. I also heard about his work ethic so that is a definitely a great sign early in his career.

Until he uses the word retirement, nobody should be reading that in to what he was saying.

That comment was very vague.

And given the history, more likely he is thinking of a change of scenery than retirement.

We shall see.
He used the word retirement.

He's gotta be frustrated. For the WCF he averaged 27.8/9.5/10.0 on 51.9 % shooting.

AD averaged 26.8/14.0/2.8 blks/1.4 stls on 49.3% shooting and they still got swept.

Agree.

I just think it’s funny that people are assuming his words are being taken out of context.

Maybe watch his presser, read his quotes before deciding.

I don’t believe he is retiring.

I think he’s a drama queen and we will get a whole ass summer of Brady until the Lakers do whatever he is trying to pressure them into doing.

Nevertheless, this is only a story because Lebron made it one.
