I admittedly didn’t watch near the amount of the series like you did but if the Lakers have that kind of style of play, then why wasn’t that consistent throughout the whole series? The Warriors had a 17-16 advantage in game 2 and both teams had equal in game 5 with 15. Did the Warriors change their entire style of play in those games so that’s why they got more calls? Did the Lakers suddenly stop playing that heavy drive to the basket style of offense and that’s why they got less calls?

Did the Lakers play that style only at home and that’s why the calls were so lopsided at home compared to being pretty much even in 2/3 games on the road?

Instead of pointing to stats, pointing to actual bad calls or missed calls would better indicate poor officiating. Teams aren't guaranteed the same number of FTs as their opponents, they are called in the flow of the game.

Calling the refs as Lakers supporters while Schroder gets ejected on two weak techs and Dray won't shut up after every call with only a few techs called throughout the series is just turning a blind eye.

I think this series will come down to AD vs. Joker.

If AD can use his athleticism and defensive advantages to neutralize Joker, the Lakers should win.

If he can't, the Nuggets should win.

Imo, when the Nuggets are on offense, the Lakers should try to take away everyone else and force Joker to play 1 on 1 with AD to prevent Joker from using his passing to get everyone else involved. When he's hitting his shots and getting assists, the Nuggets are damn near unbeatable.

It’ll be interesting this time to see AD guard Jokic as he didn’t the last time these 2 played in the WCF, that belonged to Dwight Howard.

Jokic in the regular season in 2020: 19.9ppg, 53/31 splits

Jokic in the playoffs against the Lakers in 2020: 21.8 ppg, 53/36 splits

So Jokic was slightly better against LA in the 2020 playoffs than in the reg season, and then improved significantly as a player overall in 2021.

But if AD can shut him down and make Murray and MPJ beat them they have an excellent chance.

I am surprised AD is still healthy

AD is better defensively right now than DH was back then.

LOL.

Is the (Bubble Rematch) in the header really necessary? The other series is as well.

This series will be decided at the basket. The Nuggets during the regular season were one of the worst rim-defending teams in the league. Saw the stat on sportscenter a little bit ago. And the Lakers like to attack the rim.

Should be a damn good series. Hopefully the Nuggets take care of business.

Yeah I can see why LakersNation would like that.

Ain't it odd that the Nuggets are 100% healthy for the first time in three seasons and they're still playing?

As much as. I would like to see the Lakers vs Heat I think it's going to be Lakers vs C's in a battle of who gets their next banner.

I'll go with consistency.....Lakers in 6. Since I read here somewhere that the Lakers are Satan....three consecutive 6 game series.

While I like the Heat, I think i'm going to root for the Western Conference champion in the Finals, regardless of the outcome of the series - hoping for the Lakers of course.
