Questions whether the Lakers should or would extend AD this summer are misguided. If he is interested, it will get done. If they decide differently a year or two down the road, trading him for assets. Better to rebuild post-Lebron with one building block than tearing it all down.

Nah, you tear it down to keep that Utah pick and screw over Danny ainge lol

The good thing is you can look at him and the roster at the end of Lebron's contract. I'm not sure why you sign him long-term if you don't have the pieces around him. Better off trading him for whatever you can +picks and rebuilding.

They're not trading him this upcoming season (assuming Lebron is back). He has an opt out that coincides with Lebron's. Thus, extend him if he's interested or risk losing him for nothing (unless he needs a S&T).

I mean after this season. It would be 24-25 season. Not this season

Torn means he is still trying to make them compete for the best deal
It better be take tens of millions left to still ring chase or take a bag from the Rockets.

Yeah, this ends all speculation. He is most definitely using the Rockets for leverage to get Philly to give him top dollar. He has little to no interest in actually playing for Houston
Aaron Judge did the same thing with the Giants and Yankees

Completely ignoring where they are in their careers and talent level, how many teams did Judge ruin?

LOL dude you are obsessed. We get it, Harden is the antichrist.

Just noting the similar tactics here.

Yeah but tactics works different when you are a top 2 player in your sport/in your prime compared to borderline top 20 player and not in your prime
