Why won't he just plainly ask out? What is this dude scared of? He's put in the time. There's no true Blazers fan out there that's gonna hate him for it. Everyone knows its over. Hell, most of the Blazers fans will be rooting for him wherever he goes.

People who want him to get traded see this as him being afraid to explicitly ask to get dealt.

People who don’t want to see him get traded take it at face value that he’s just trying to apply pressure.

Who knows which is actually accurate?

Shams was reporting he wanted to stay just yesterday.

Confused as a lost puppy

I think dame wants to stay, he wants to win in port and giving them a chance to fix it

But he also wants a way out of they keep up with this half ass in the middle thing

Won’t get a better offer than scoot

Looking at the salary pieces Portland has, Simons and Nurkic pretty much have to be in the deal. So Simons, Nurkic and Scoot (with the off chance it could also be Brandon Miller) is actually a really good haul for Paul George. If they're serious about blowing it up, they should do this deal. There's other teams out there that could put together deals with lots of picks (Knicks, Nets, for example), but from a bird in the hand talent stand point, hard to top what Portland could offer.

@Mecca

Marc Stein saying the Clippers are gauging interest around the league for Paul George
I will believe it when I see it.

They should have dismantled this shit last year.

If they do indeed trade for CP3, Cap.

You don’t bring him back to blow it up…….

George is up for a contract extension.

I wouldn’t pay him nor Kawhi.

Fuuuuuuck.

I think this progression is so funny.

Laker fans were excited when they traded for DLo.

Then, some on here (including you) we’re begging for him to be benched in the playoffs. And now you are disappointed that they are looking to resign him.

There isn’t another option right now. You let him walk all you are getting is tax savings. This is your guy.

Now, invest in him, support him and hope he plays better in those big moments.

Letting him walk gets you nothing.

Lmao my thoughts exactly.

He had a rough go at it in the denver series but overall was solid for the lakers. Unless you are getting Kyrie, you shoulx bring back Dlo.

A front loaded 2 yr contract sounds right for him

I would much prefer signing and trading him rather than just resigning him.

And as a fan I am allowed my opinion. Like all of us.

Sign and trade Russell for some depth and bring in CP for vet minimum. Clear upgrade over Russell.

We gotta maximize the Bron window.
