Not sure if they belong on one of those teams but have seen most of the Cavs games and I'd put Craig Porter and Mobley ahead of Bates.
Merril shot the shit outta the ball....he was draining 3's.....i dont htink they have any room for the guy but the least you can say is he took advantage of his opportunity.

Yeah he was a pretty good college player at Cal, along with being a great tight end. But he wasn't as good at basketball so he did football instead. He was legit though in college.

This is one reason why people say if LeBron had played pro football he'd have probably been a tight end.

Assets are assets.

A trade like that would be better for Portland than a trove of fewer picks focused on the next 5-6 years.

Problem is, GMs don’t think long term enough because their longevity rarely extends that long.

But if you put them in the distance and remove the protections?

Those picks could be franchise changing.

Just not anytime soon.

It's also completely impossible, no picks past 2030 are currently tradeable.

...and stupid. Who would have 3 max contract veteran centers on their roster?
Well, it's not meant to be real world, I thought it was just a way to say 'rank these 3 players'. But tlance's approach made me think maybe it's about which 2 of the 3 would you want to have on your team at the same time and who starts...because then it's a different answer with those 3.

I don't think it's about contracts but of course it's just sports yakking.

I saw him in both as well in the Bay Area, I still went to Cal football and basketball games then, had just graduated a couple years prior to his arrival. He was fun to watch in both,

It's unnecessarily negative. Ranking the players would be more diplomatic than saying the 3rd should be cut. All 3 of these players start on virtually any NBA team.

Of course.

It is a game.

If an NBA team really had all 3 of those guys on their roster, they would trade either probably Embiid, and start both Jokic and Davis.

And since they would get a hefty return for Embiid, they would likely be pretty set. I think Davis and Jokic would be pretty awesome together.

AD doesn’t start on Denver or Philly though unless he goes back to playing the 4.
