We’ve been talking about this eventuality here for years but this is the first time I can recall public comments like this. I feel a little bit vindicated though because I’ve been saying with each proposed Sixers move this summer it’s about Embiid and what the Sixers can do to keep him from begging out. I think this time next summer though, depending on what the Sixers 2023-24 season look like, that it’s Embiid we are talking about like Dame and the Sixers are the team trying to bleed out value from a deal when a star begs out.

For Philly’s sake, they better hope he plays to a MVP level and no injuries so if they do fall short they can get full value for Embiid. There would be a lot more teams in on Embiid than other stars previous that wanted out imo
