Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuminga and 2 future 1st's for Siakam.

GET IT DONE DUNLEAVY YOU BUM.
Indiana has this package with 3 1st's. I doubt they would want to include Mathurin

After being recently burned with taking a team need instead of BPA, I'm solely in the BPA category from here on out.

Picking for need at the top of the draft is dicey at best though. Charlotte is already getting criticized for passing on Scoot. If it's a toss-up, sure. I still don't see Lebron vs Wemby as close to a toss-up though.

I think if you had an equally talented player at both positions you are taking Lebron. Again, just my opinion and based a lot on thinking less chance he'd be a bust.

Well yeah, if you have the #1 pick and the best guy at your position of need is projected to go in the lower half of the top 10, you're going with the best player available and figuring the rest out later.

But if he's ranked in the top 3 or 4...you might consider going with need. Especially if there isn't a large talent gap.

If they include Mathurin that package beats the Warriors. Pacers are so desperate they probably give up 3-4 1st's and swaps
I do not see the Pacers including Mathurin. Think they plan to build around the backcourt of Halliburton and him.

He is an easy guy to hate
This makes perfect sense.

Sounds like a fair guy.

"Building around Dame has always been the goal all the way, even through the draft. The difficult things we ran into were finding the right deals. In the previous two years, we drafted at seven, then we drafted at three. In the meantime we were scouring the market looking for more win now players and what kept happening was those players just weren't available. So each time we just tried to weigh that. In Shaedon's draft, pick seven, what does that look likeversus what's available on the market. And the answer was obvious: Shaedon's better. And same thing happened this time.

What does pick three look like versus the return to the market? It wasn't close. Had to go three. So it wasn't necessarily intentional, it was just doing what's best for this team, and we kept doing that and I could see why Dame would look at it and say. 'Well this isn't a win now opportunity as much as, or this isn't as much of a win now opportunity as some other places. So from that regard, I mean I understand his position and I respect it and it makes sense to me why he would look to go
elsewhere."

Of course just Summer League but watching both Cavs' games the guy who may have impressed me the most was Craig Porter (PG from Wichita State). Thought I heard them say he led his college team in rebounding and saw him go up for at least a handful, which was impressive at his size.

Bates looked OK. Nothing special.
