I think it goes beyond that

You are suspending a player for something he did inside his own property that was not a crime and had no actual harm done to anyone or anything

I understand the nba trying to protect the brand, but that is a jet landing strip worth a leeway for silver going forward

There are plenty of people that would lose their jobs posting on IG and Facebook the way he does. Legal is irrelevant when it comes to setting an example.

I was about to post....Bog and Wiseman for Ayton could work...

I prob should not include Bagley since he's basically a lost cause who is always hurt. But yea...Wiseman is the most likely there.

I don't think Ayton has great trade value. They should've dealt him before or during the deal.

@bksballer89 would you rather Dame or Dray to be that missing piece for you guys?

Dame been my favorite non heat player since he came into the league. It would be my dream if they acquired him.

The spacing with a Draymond/Bam starting unit won't be fun. I would only want Draymond if its in a bench role which i doubt he would want

This isn't about legality, it's about conditions of employment. I'm sure your employer would feel a certain way if you were a leading face of the company and in the media waving guns around and acting a fool. In fact, your employer would likely have not been so lenient.

That is a terrible package. I wonder what they get from LA if they reroute CP3

Expirings most likely. Otherwise they buy him out. CP3 will probably be guaranteed at around $25M to get the deal approved. Clips have expirings for guys they can spare (Morris, Covington notably). Maybe the Wiz get a young asset or pick out of it.

He also hasn't played more than 60 games since 18/19.
Yea as i said in another post, health would be my only real concern with him. He's a damn good player when healthy

No i don't think the league can control that. I think Bam been recruiting Dame since the Olympics tbh lol but dame is stubborn & loyal. Tampering is more when the front office is involved with a player from another team

I think he will, but just like Beal had the Wizards over a barrel because of his no trade clause, interested teams kind of have the Suns over one because they know they’re only real hope of filling out the rest of their roster is to trade Ayton so they might not get as much back in return as they would under different circumstances.

We just saw Beal get traded and Washington didn’t even get a 1st back, the Suns may be looking at a lower return back too.

Beal's contract is quite possibly the 2nd worst in the league (behind Simmons). Have fun when he picks up his player option in 26/27 at 34 for $57M and you can't trade him where you want because he still holds that no trade clause.

Ayton has issues too in terms of moving him, but he is still young (24) with two more years under contract after this coming season.

The Pacers signed him to an offer sheet last year, forcing the Suns' hand to match. Maybe now they can get a trade done. Turner/McConnell/Duarte? I think the Knicks could get involved too...Rose/Robinson/picks?

Ayton’s trade value has plummeted.

Phoenix would have to attach picks to get either of those packages IMO. Especially the Pacers one.
