Reasoning on why he keeps asking for trades? You're right, I don't. Does he? Does anyone? He asked for a trade midseason in BKN and he had a great team around him.

It could be many different reasons but what makes you think he won't ask for a trade midseason if he asked to be traded right now? You are still falling for this chump. We all told you before this would happen, it's just like Kyrie. Kyrie is actually better now bc he committed to something for once.
The BK situation was clearly because of Irving but the combination of Houston and Philly are something altogether different.

No he didn’t. Kyrie went off the reservation and KD was hurt again.

Even if he does the Sixers won’t accommodate if they don’t get value back.
You are still falling for this chump. We all told you before this would happen, it's just like Kyrie. Kyrie is actually better now bc he committed to something for once.
It’s not like Kyrie. You don’t understand that the Sixers possess all the cards.
Scenario A - Harden demands a trade. The Sixers don’t get value. The Sixers don’t trade him. Harden goes home and doesn’t come back. Sixers don’t win a championship.

Scenario B - Harden demands a trade. The Sixers don’t get value. The Sixers force feed a trade taking back crumbs that doesn’t make the team better. Sixers don’t win a championship.

It’s the same outcome but scenario B comes with unusable assets they don’t want over cap savings of 75 million when Harden and Harris walk.

It makes zero sense. No wait…I have to go with a negative number because this is a less than zero sense situation for the Sixers to deal Harden for peanuts or anything less than what he’s worth to the Sixers. Zero sense. It’s not about Harden. It’s about Embiid and the Sixers. If they take peanuts for Harden you increase the likelihood of Embiid pulling the move you think Harden will pull at the deadline. Sorry man. What you’re putting forth is Uber dumb.

Well it's funny bc he asked for a trade from Houston knowing Kyrie was on the team. Of course playing with him can change things. He still has a pattern. He is now in another good situation in Philly but he asked for a trade. Why?

Lucky for Miami, Dame only wants to go to Miami and other teams won't want to risk giving up assets for a disgruntled superstar.

It's just about finding a 3rd or even 4th team at this point.

Yep. It's the same situation the Pels were in with AD and the Lakers. The difference being that I believe Dame has more years left than AD did and Miami doesn't have as many assets as the Lakers did.

Both sides should do that deal

Although @Mecca is gonna cam Cleeland me for suggesting that…
I think that’s fair value for a 20 10 guy who fits the Kawhi/PG13 investments already made.

The Philly decision is a knee jerk from anger. He feels like because he left money on the table last year that they owed him a new deal. He got played and he’s angry. The way this is trending is that wiser heads will prevail and Harden is back with the Sixers.

1. Harden gave up, again. Got it.

2. The overall point is when life gets hard, he backs out and tries to force a trade.

3. Does it matter? Philly doesn't win a championship in any scenario LOL it would be nice to get value you back to win this year...that is the first priority. If not, expiring contracts to try to win next year.

Problem is does Joel give up on this franchise if this year they are a lost cause. Then they are in full rebuild mode.

Harden has no other play that doesn’t damage his marketability going forward.

3 was going to be my point

If they all end with futility get the picks

It’s likely headed to full rebuild anyway. But if it’s Joel demanding a trade at deadline you’re handcuffed in that deal. That’s the deal that is needed to rebuild the Sixers. They have to protect themselves in making that deal.

The Sixers had the 3rd best record in the league last year. It’s not foolish to try and run it back with different leadership. If it doesn’t work, they have options to pivot to next off season.

Shane’s ideas aren’t getting the Sixers picks. He had Herro and RoCo coming in one deal and Morris Batum RoCo in another. No picks at all.

The Nets? At that time they didn’t want to and that’s why Harden demanded out.

I think Joel and the Sixers have been business for far enough time they would be professional about it and work together. Meaning, give the team an offseason to trade him. Agree, a deadline is bad for Philly. I only see this scenario if Philly is in bad shape at the trade deadline.

Just fucking around honestly but if they do take expiring contracts from LA, how many picks do you think they get for Harden?

Joel “Troell” Embiid is highly emotional and irrational. I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of him saying fuck this. You can see that brewing with the things he’s said in the press.
