But if you look at the whole picture this is text book mismanagement and poor decision making.Beal's contract is so bad they're only gonna be able to do so much. Plus, in their situation, getting back expirings (especially if they just cut them), isn't all that bad. They need to bottom out and start over. Would it be nice to at least get one decent player (like say Herro) back? Sure. But getting off Beal is a win by itself. If all they get is expirings and a couple of picks, they did well.
