Exactly.

Nobody has to trade for JA with the Cavs asking for ridiculous return.
How do you know the Cavs are asking for ridiculous in return?

sure, they might be because they really don't want to move him.

Dunno if 10 was offered.

But….

Sources say the Dallas Mavericks, who own the No. 10 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and have sharpshooter Tim Hardaway Jr. — a player the Cavs discussed at the February trade deadline — were one team that recently reached out about Allen’s availability,” Chris Fedor wrote.
I have no doubt the Cavs would listen to offers for Allen (as they would anyone) and, sure, if blown away they'd move him.....but my guess is the season starts with him as our center.

This trade works bc Mills is now off BKN's books.

MIA gives up Herro, Martin, Lowry, Jovic and 2 1st's
BKN gives up DFS, O'Neale and 1 1st
CLE gives up Allen and Wade
POR gives up Lillard & Nurkic

MIA receives Lillard and O'Neale
BKN receives Herro
CLE receives Nurkic and DFS
POR receives Lowry's expiring, Allen, Martin, Wade, Jovic and 3 1st's

Cannot see the Cavs doing this. BKN maybe. I think Miami would. was gonna say no for Portland but didn't notice the 3 firsts...but think they could do better.

These youngsters are getting the type of deals Tatum and Brown are just now getting.

Crazy.
Tatum got a max in the same time frame, cap was just lower. Brown was a little different because at the end of his rookie he was not a max player.

He has yet to say anything publicly lol. How is that not being a pro

Players truly cant win in this league. They play on a crappy organization then they get criticism for being a loser. They chase rings then thats a problem.

They ask politely to be traded to a contender after grinding it out for over a decade....thats a problem too.

Sometimes i see why KD moved the way he did lol
The criticism for being a loser is more than a little unwarranted. To say a guy that is going to make 60 mil in the last year of his deal can’t win sounds a little ridiculous right? In any profession with money stuff like this comes, I think he can deal with it.

Exactly...that's why I always say in any REASONABLE deal Mobley is probably untouchable. SA calls offering Wemby and Johnson for Mobley and filler? Mobley will be taking some trips to the River Walk.

Nah, Lavar trained his kids to get to the NBA, but from everything I've read, they were raised pretty normally. From what I recall other kids from the neighborhood would come over and workout with Lavar and his sons.

Marinovich never even had fast food or candy until he got to USC. Every aspect of his life was regimented and every day planned out by his Dad pretty much from birth.

Lavar is a loudmouth who, for a few years, seemed to get caught up and made it about him. But it's been a couple of years since we've even heard anything out of him.

The shit Marv did to Todd was, at best, borderline child abuse.
Marinovic was pretty much Drago (without the steroids).

Because of the price, not the player, for me.

Nets got Lonnie for the minimum.
Yeah, think Walker was a little butthurt about losing his spot in the rotation here once the trades went down at the deadline.

Get on your soapboax, it has been a while since you have ranted page after 20 pages.
You - The CAVS are asking for ridiculous in return for Allen
me - how do you know the CAVS are asking too much
You - It was a proposed trade by Shane

I suspect if I wanted this to go 20 pages you'd help me out, but I don't. You can either own how foolish your comment(s) were or don't. FD has it at 455-1 you'll own it so give me a heads up if you are to get in on some action. I suspect you wont, though.

Windy seems to think Portland could take Herro as part of a trade for Dame but they would want to reroute him somewhere else.....and they are not looking to concede much to Dame as he on his way "out the door."
