And?

Assuming he doesn’t retire or completely go off the rails he will get another 2 year $100 million or so after this contract is up.

Nobody said he was getting the 5 year max. Nobody.
And nobody said he would be out of the league. I’ve given you all the credit you seem to need that you are going to get. Go find it elsewhere and have a great day.

If I’m Beasley and starting at league minimum, I’m staying with the lakers.

They have bird rights and can trade you away than team with bird rights to get more next year with a better fit
He may want more PT than they could offer.

His game was always hit high percentage of shots, make great passes, and very good defense. Almost every team could have use best version of Ingles.

If he is 70% of that now he is still a valuable player, but not so sure he is 11 million valuable.
I may agree with you but it's not a massive overpay.....he is a solid vet to have on that young team. And they probably had to pay him more to get him to come there.

That's my thought too. He obviously can play, but as others have pointed out, he can be pretty inconsistent. Heck, saw that in his short time with the Lakers. He all but won a couple of games for the Lakers with his shooting, then slumped so bad that Ham had to take him out of the rotation in the playoffs.

If the Lakers coaches can help him develop more consistency, he could be a real asset. If they can't, as you suggest, he should be easy to move.

If the young guys learn how to rotate on defense from him it is more than worth it.

Like what Memphis is doing with Smart, Rose and Mills....getting some vets there to help the kids.

This why you can't be loyal to organizations. Run after your rookie extension deal is up.

Good, it’s a business, make Miami put up their best offer. This isn’t a charity.

Lillard waited too long and kept faith in this shitty organization
