He changed how much people will doubt "can't-miss" prospects in the future.Definitely that one guy that lost in the 1st round every year changed the game, for real

I don't see how that would help the Heat. They need a true big, not another guard.
Atlanta is basically maxed-out cap wise, already at $170M. Houston and Indiana have cap space to absorb the $6M. I don't know that Kuminga is worth the jump to #4 or #7.The problem is they’d still have to take back some salary
Atlanta is a petty good fit imo
Beal's contract is bad enough value that it should take much less to get him in trade if the Wiz are being reasonable. I don't expect them to be unless Beal forces things, so I don't see him being moved. If they're gonna trade for a guard with a high price, they are far better off pursuing Dame than they are Beal. If it it were me running the Heat, I'd probably go Dame only. See if Portland would bite, if not, try to tweak the roster in other ways with smaller deals instead of sinking costs into someone like Bradley Beal

I think it's just a matter of fishing that every team does this time of year. The Lakers have looked into the trade value of their moveable pieces (Russell, Bamba, Beasley) but that doesn't mean anyone bites or that anything is imminent. The Warriors due dilligence is just being over-portrayed as rumor because the focus has shifted to the offseason.Nope but they might be involved anyway if gs wants to move up

Sure. I'm hoping the Lakers have realized that depth worked so much better than the 3 star approach, but I wouldn't put it past them to chase Beal should he be attainable for matching contracts and a 1st or two. His injury history and huge remaining contract should make them reject any proposals immediately, but the Westbrook trade makes me worry. It make take less to get him, but they're gonna be hamstrung by the price either way. Both Dame and Beal are high dollar players so if I'm gonna be restricted by the CBA having one of them along with Bam and Butler on my roster taking up so much cap, I'd rather have the better player (Dame).

I'm fairly certain the Lakers don't want to be a 2nd apron team and I can't see a way to get Beal without getting there. Really the only offer the Lakers could put together for Beal would be Dlo (sign and trade), Beasley, and Bamba along with draft picks (say #17 this year and the 2029 pick). With Beal, James, and Davis along with re-signing Reaves and Rui (their own free agents, can go over cap), that alone should put them above the 2nd apron. And you still have the bulk of your roster to fill out and all that's left is vet min guys because of the CBA penalties.
Now say CP3 gets waived and really would be ok signing with the Lakers for the vet min. A squad of CP3, Beal, Lebron, Rui, Davis with Reaves and Vanderbilt off the bench is pretty solid. But its an all in move for this year only. Going forward with those contracts, especially with Davis due for an extension, you have no way to improve yourself even along the margins. If you don't win next year, you're cooked. And while that squad is good, its still risky given the age (Lebron and CP3) and injury history (Davis, Beal, Lebron, CP3) of everyone involved.
They need to stay away from Beal. It's far too great a risk
Well, if I’m still gonna have to put up with Harden ball, I hope it’s a low number of years and a workable number. This was good to see.
I think it’s more likely he asks out the other way around.I hope he leaves so embiid asks out

It doesn’t look like he can get it though from what I’ve read. Could all be smoke but it seems like Sixers and Houston are both meh on committing to him.Your plan to get double cap space makes some sense…although using maxey and Harris to get one guy now and one next summer to not quit on this year already also would make some sense
But idk why harden would take less again unless he just can’t get it anywhere else the guy is likely worth 3/120 (assuming he’s worth about 50/40/30 each year)
That’s a raise from last year but a haircut from the max
No lies told
I got one as well.Adam Silver just sent me an email thanking me for being the amazing nba fan that i am
