Some interesting news on Countdown from Woj tonight in regards to CP3

Says the Suns have had a few teams call about possibly trading for CP3, but a few of them are looking to do it for a salary dump purposes. Since his contract isn't fully guaranteed, those teams will trade for him and then waive him to clear space so CP3 still might end up being a free agent this summer even if there's a trade.

Minny is gonna have to do something. They fucked themselves with the Gobert trade but with the new CBA, they're double fucked.
I keep hearing about teams getting screwed by the new CBA...Minny, GS, Boston, etc. Did any teams benefit from it?

I guess eventually some team will get a star player that wouldn't necessarily get in the past because they chose to take the money instead of taking less to stay with their former team. So them? :noidea:

Aren't the Suns waiving CP3 to save money and gain flexibility? Or are they going to accept hitting that second apron?

They can still do both by trading him depending on timing and structure of the deal.
