@thunderc

Look who landed at #8.

Respect

Ps. I am not taking Luka over Giannis.

Nice! Thunder with 5 in the top 69. Yeah no chance I have Luka over Giannis either.

It’s likely crazy talk but had local radio on earlier and that were discussing a Lillard to the Bucks for Holiday trade as if it really could happen.

Could that be because Luka is younger?
Oh I’m sure that has a little to do with it. A couple years ago I would have had Luka No 1 on that list. I don’t anymore.

Yes, when it doesn’t work.

But sometimes showing your guy you are willing to be aggressive is all it takes.
Wow, I’ll say one thing you are the eternal optimist. Nothing wrong with it, we all could probably use a little more of that. I’ll ask this though, what has Irving done in the last 3 years to make anyone think he will get totally on board anything? There is a reason the Mavs are bidding against themselves.

These lists are wrong though.

Wemby is easy number 1 and it isn’t close.

Dude is on a rookie contract for 4 years and under team control next 4 after that.

Jokic, Giannis, Luka etc are all great.

But no vet can touch the trade value of a rookie everyone thinks is going to be a superstar.

I literally just agreed with you that it won’t work in terms of building a winning team.

Think you might have misunderstood my post.

Sorry if that’s the case, I was going with the showing confidence part of what you said.

That was just meaning that even WHEN it doesn’t work, front office has to show Luka they are trying.

They dropped the ball letting Brunson go. They can’t just let Kyrie walk and expect Luka to be okay with it.

Yeah, it’s all subjective.

I would have thought the Gryphon * what’s more magical than a Unicorn or Pegasus* would have been #1 too.

@fightinfunbags are the 6ers willing?

The Houston Rockets are believed to be “out of the running” when it comes to 2023 NBA free agency negotiations with Philadelphia 76ers superstar James Harden, reports Kelly Iko of The Athletic. “In recent days, I’ve understood that Houston is no longer an option for James,” Iko said in a Twitter live stream on Wednesday. “I would call them out of the running,” Iko added. “James was never interested in taking some kind of discount two years in a row. He made, what, $34-35 million this year? He could stand to make 50 to 52 (million). He was not going to take a discount, and the Rockets were never going to pay him that kind of max money.”

Windy does have his sources. He said Utah will be upgrading their 4 before the Collins trade but with no clear rumor yet, none of it matters
I'm sure he has sources, but you could say most teams will try and upgrade their team/core and be right about many of them.

Only way I do that is if Murphy is included and I highly doubt that would happen.

Another rumor: Miles Bridges

Matthew Broderick GIF
Bridges, if his head is on straight, would be exactly what we need. Well, almost as not the best 3 point shooter. But he can score, defend, rebound, etc.
