Refs started out letting things go then completely change the way they called the game in the 2nd quarter and that is why fans hate them. You can't change the way you call a game after a quarter. If you want to call it tight then start from the opening tip

Difference in the 1H for me is Heat’s inability to finish around the rim. You knew they weren’t gonna be 50% from three again and that’s fine but you have to finish better. But also tip of the cap to Denver because they’ve made the looks tough despite being in close. Denver’s defense is rotating much better than they were in Game 2.

The goal was evening up the calls because the Heat went to the line in 1Q. It’s what they (NBA officials) do.
