That doesn't make much sense considering Denver is in the ship and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. OKC has a long way to go and rebuilds are a hit or miss, they don't always work out. Denver will be a high-caliber playoff team probably for most of Jokic's career and I don't see him ever leaving Denver. That's at least another 5 years of great Jokic but probably more...he doesn't rely on athleticism so I see him being a Tim Duncan type, mid to late 30's is possible.

Even though spo will never do this with how great Caleb been, i was listening to my heat podcast and they suggested going back to Love starting and placing him on Jokic. Let Jokic eat and focus on slowing down murray and not leaving their shooters so only helping off Gordon and Brown. Good strategy but cant bench Caleb right now.

Has the Joker missed any games this season? If so how was Denvers offense when he wasnt there, did they lose those games? Im just trying to compare how Miami was when Jimmy or Bam missed games.

The Nuggets played like a bottom 10 team when Joker was out. They went 5-8.

He missed/rested some games down the stretch and Denver was losing (3-4 down the stretch), but he wasn't the only one resting.

The idea of making Joker a scorer is the right one.

But you got to still put a good defender on him who can make him work. Just limit the doubles. Because that is when he really kills you.
