49ers sign DE Kerry Hyder. 1yr, 1.5M deal. 750 of it is incentives.
$1.5M salary with $750K guaranteed. (The rest is non-guaranteed base salary). League minimum for Hyder would be $1.035M.49ers sign DE Kerry Hyder. 1yr, 1.5M deal. 750 of it is incentives.
So the Packers lost their #1 & #2 WRs this year?Chiefs sign ex-Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling to fill void after Tyreek Hill trade
Kansas City didn't wait long to find someone to take over as the big-play threat for Patrick Mahomes, as the Chiefs added WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling.www.usatoday.com
Yeah, all they really have right now are Cobb and Lazard.So the Packers lost their #1 & #2 WRs this year?
It sounds like it. I believe the Packers weren't even the 2nd biggest bid on MVS. GB offered one year, NO offered two, KC offered three.The Packers just gonna draft a buncha receivers and not sign any FA WR's?
LOL.
Scantling as Hill's replacement? Good luck with that...Chiefs sign ex-Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling to fill void after Tyreek Hill trade

No.Scantling as Hill's replacement? Good luck with that...
KC better have one heck of a good draft. Makes you wonder about these huge QB contracts. See GB as well

I don't think edge is a high priority. You get Ossai back this year and you have Kareem who played well, and Cam Sample who played well. All young. All under contract for awhile. That's not including, obviously, Hubbard and Hendrickson who both just signed contracts. There is also some value to be had in the middle rounds 2-4, IMO.@Cincyfan78 Updated mock draft order scenarios:
* CB
* OL
* S
* EDGE
* EDGE
* OL
* TE
* P
OR
* EDGE

* EDGE
* RETURN SPECIALIST
* P
Personally, I like the second path more, but I wouldn't complain regardless. Im coming around for Hurst and Huber is probably done.

Yeah, just a piece of the puzzle. Not a replacement. 10 mil per a little high maybe but have to look at the actual guarantee and out. Might be less. Hill's 30 actually being 25 per if they cut bait after 3 years as an example. Or Adams being closer to 23 per when all is said and done. Scantling likely in the 7-8 per area. Gives the Chiefs lots of room to work on other deals be it trades, drafts, etc.No.
He's their 3rd receiver...or 2nd.
Cough cough CarrCough, cough.

Mehdon't forget Amari Rodgers, maybe he can emerge this year...
Thanks for that update. I didn't know how the contract was set up. So 9 per. Still a fair bit but a lot less than 24-25 or more for Hill.$18M guaranteed. Likely $9M per for first 2 seasons, then $12m for the 3rd non-guaranteed year.
It's already started. We just punted it out another yearJust wait until 2023 and Dak's cap hit
