Any time you have to use "but when healthy" it's a trap and best avoided.
Injury history has nothing to do with how much teams should pay players.

I mean he is 30, he missed 9 games last season. We will see. I don't see this as awful but Miami seems desperate in a loaded AFC and they filled a need

That is incredibly ironic in a discussion about Armstead coming from a fan of the 49ers who traded for and handed one of the largest contact to a LT that was just as injured and just as old as Armstead at the time of the trade. And look at what Williams has done for the 49er's OL.

That Tyreek Hill speculation is huge. I'm not sure if the price is worth it. Wow. Some team out there might though.

If I am the Jet's, I would do it for the equivalent of 2 1sts. They own the 4th and 9th in this draft. Absolutely no way I part with those picks. And I dont give them my 2023 1st rounder either. But I would finagle trades with the 4th and 9th and my 2 2nd round picks in this years drafts to come up with a package that doesnt include the 4th overall or my 2023 1st.

....

I am sure that Mahomes is probably not extremely happy about this....but his reaction probably pales in comparison to fantasy football players who own Hill in a keeper format.

It is odd that Miami is rumored to be involved. Waddle is the guy that is supposed to be their Hill. I bet they are rumored to be there just as leverage. But a Hill for Howard + a little swap makes a lot of sense.

If Hill and his agent see that it's between the Jets and Dolphins, they need to seriously think about getting back to the negotiating table. I get that the Adams and Hopkins deals are the bar but damn, is purgatory worth the extra bit of money?

If the Jets give up a high pick this year it would be a BIG mistake. This WR class is loaded, a lot of talented WR's. I understand Hill is an amazing talent and means everything to that offense but he wants $25M/year...you can replace him with a great talent (no guarantee) on a rookie contract, you do it. Now this won't be a Jamarr Chase type of WR but if they get a top pick they can choose from pretty much any WR from this great rookie class
