Mack now Jackson. Chargers beefing up the defense
Yeah, on paper their pass defense is pretty good. Run D might still be suspect. Might still be able to work them over at TE.

Dolphins re-signed TE Mike Gesicki to a one-year, $10.8 million contract.

Gesicki is the first franchised player to sign his tag. This would also seem to indicate that Gesicki will not be filing a grievance over being tagged as a tight end rather than receiver. The $10.8 million is fully guaranteed, though the sides have until July 15 to reach a long-term agreement. New coach Mike McDaniel grew used to blocking monster/pass-catching dual-threat George Kittle in San Francisco, but that is not Gesicki. Being treated ever more as a pure pass catcher, Gesicki projects as a safe TE1 even with the change in coaching staff.

Well. A decent WR but that $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

\
But he was never a feature WR. More of a 3rd WR.

Jacksovnville HAS a SERIOUS NEED at WR

Jacksonville has a serious need because they keep signing other teams' cast-offs and expecting it to work. Last year it was Marvin Jones and Laquon Treadwell. This year it's Christian Kirk.

The last time they selected a WR in the first round was that disastrous, drunk Justin Blackmon. That was a decade ago.

Kirk's contract is probably completely fake. A 2 year deal for 13M a year and the backend is just fake money.

Right.

Right!

Right????

The Jag's doing Jag things.

I do want to say once again that Tom Coughlin should have the record for the worst front office positions in the history of the league. The Jags having to VASTLY overpay talent still stems from the fiasco of his years with the Jags in the 2nd stint where the players literally got a note from the Player's Union telling the entire league to sign at your own risk when signing with the Jags.
