Furthermore, Frost had a nice snipe in the shootout to keep us alive and yes, Binnington was outstanding in net for St. Louis throughout the game, but I also think he got very fortunate to only give up one. Probably should've been a 2-1 or 3-1 Flyer win in regulation or at least 2-1 Flyers in OT.

Now we have two really difficult games upcoming in Florida. Both of these teams are going to be seeking some revenge against us. The Panthers (who are rolling) are trying to win the President's Trophy and top seed. The Lightning are just trying to squeak into the playoffs and see what happens. They both have a lot to play for. It's a high pressure environment and time of year, without question.

Nick Seeler doesn't have long-term injury

Nick Seeler missed the last 10 minutes of the Flyers-Blues game on Monday night, but I’m told from a team source that while he could end up missing a bit of time, he does not have any sort of long term injury from blocking a Colton Parayko shot in the second period.
The Flyers are continuing to weigh their options with the defenseman. There have been discussions about a contract extension, but the Flyers are also waiting to see what kind of offers they could get for the 30-year-old pending free agent ahead of Friday’s deadline.

He's been great and I'd love to keep him, but if the price is right and we can get younger and better I'm more for that

I simply would like to keep all three but that ain't happenin'. Damn it!
It's a good thing though. We need to get younger and better playmakers, we have some kids starting to show up every game, just need a few more skilled guys and we're in it to win it.

The Flyers braintrust has already intimated that Laughton will not be traded by Friday. That is good news.

I'm sure the price on him was just too high for everyone. Given everything he does for this team, I think he's a steal at $3 million per for the next two seasons. This is especially true given the rise in the overall salary cap over those exact seasons.

From the athletic:

The Flyers remain engaged in contract discussions with Seeler and Sean Walker, and there’s a chance that the two — who have been partners for most of the season — will stay with the team on multi-year deals. Nothing has changed since general manager Daniel Briere, who has been very transparent, said as much in his media availability in Washington last Friday.

This is probably going to go down to the wire. The Flyers know they might not get their best offers until shortly before the 3 p.m. deadline, and, as Briere has said, they don’t feel they’re under immense pressure to make a deal simply for the sake of making a deal, considering they are still in third place in the Metropolitan Division. They’re also not opposed to taking a player or players back in a deal, especially if it helps them plug a hole to keep them afloat in the playoff race.

"As for next season, Michkov will play in Russia. It’s 99.999999999999% confirmed."

So you're saying there's a chance.

Some tweets earlier from the big guys about progress on a Seeler extension. Not surprising, we'll see what the deal looks like.

I wish some how the Flyers could just buy out his contract over there? Would love for him to get in the mix during this rebuild.

Dude was #25 on the Athletic trade board.
I imagine that like Las said, we're probably asking some pretty steep prices for players because they are having great years. I just hope we don't lose any body at the end of the season and get nothing.

Would you accept a 3rd for Walker right now?
