I would say that injuries derailed the careers of Morin and Patrick. Nobody can predict that either. Provorov was pretty decent for us for a lot of years, but now we've turned him into Sean Walker, a prospect, a backup goalie and what will probably be a nice 2nd round pick. That trade is likely a win for us, ultimately, especially considering how well Walker has played and Provy has been bad in Columbus.

I just hope they get a fair trial. We as Flyers fans will just have to wait and see how it plays out. Since we got cap relief we know he is gone from our team for the year at the very least.
I just hope if he's not guilty he comes back and gets an extension plus have the organization shows him they have his back. Otherwise it could fuck with his head confidence wise.
The real problem is that justice moves so slowly. They could be looking at a trial sometime next year. If these guys don't play for that year, how good will they be when they are allowed to play. I don't know if they would be allowed to play in some other league just to keep up their skills, but this can be career killing.
I am not sure what Torts said or did after the 1st period but it worked. TK was the only guy, besides Ersson, who showed up in the 1st period.
They just needed a period to get back to normal. They were rested and looked very good on defense after the first 20. Need that time to gage the pace of the game.
