Looks like a winnerThat smith boy is kicking ass
Thompson is trying to do his part.If either Latz, Ragans, or Bubba Thompson becomes a contributor for us eventually, we might look back and be very happy this lockout lasted long enough to cancel the Rule 5 draft.
Yes I was very happy rule 5 canceled but even more for RagansThompson is trying to do his part.
Yet exRanger takes his place. A headsratcher. How can this be ?Since the team likes collecting ex-Dodger players I wonder if he'll find his way to Texas

I think we have a very good chance of improving from within during the season.
Some of his alleged logic are mindblowers
We would not need to trade for Mancini and Roby is a keeper.

Famgraphs has us projected to finish 74-88.
with these and what @saddles is talking about we would have to clear probably 6 or 7 40-man roster spotsJosh Smith and bubba Thompson making hard pushes for roster spots, I could live with Smith in CF or 3b if he earned it, same with bubba in Cf and Wendzel, nice problem to have going into the season
There's plenty of fodderwith these and what @saddles is talking about we would have to clear probably 6 or 7 40-man roster spots
Yes but the roster crunch likely comes next year. I think we are safe this year if we want to give final chances. But if we give up I am all good minus White IMOI have been following our minor league system since guys like Roy Smalley, Mike Cubbage, Billy Sample, Bump Wills, and Danny Darwin were a part of it. I have never seen us have close to this amount of talent at one time. We may have had better prospects at times, but never this many really good prospects at once.
