Congrats to Jacob Markstrom on his Vezina finalist nomination. Excellent season for him.

Best Flames goalie since Kipper which puts him in the top 3 along with Mike Vernon. Igor has the one wrapped up though.

And the playoffs have shown pretty clearly what Saros meant to his team.

Bob carries a team to the President's trophy curse and doesn't make it in. 39-7-3 and nada. Tough competition this year.

Hoping Marky gets it. But Shesty will. And Pasta will not stand for such treachery.

It isn’t often that you lose a player, who goes on to have such a strong year, and you’re still happy with the choice.

Can’t wait to find out which sad sack writers left Bunting off their ballots entirely to give the award to Seider.

Bunting's been the actual best player.
Seider has been the only bright spot on a shit O6 team
Zegreas has scored fancy goals that get ESPN Sportcenter hosts to shout incoherently.

All Zegras.

If the nhl was smart they’d have Zegras as the presenter of the Calder at the awards show. Actually, he should probably be hosting the entire show.

I can't wait until they get just to the point of announcing Zegras as the winner and then at the last minute giving it to Alex Pietrangelo

Raymond had the same amount of goals. 6 less points and didn't play with Matthews and Marner.

Raymond is a better candidate and 6 years younger.
Raymond’s linemates were Larkin and Bertuzzi. Don’t think he gets sympathy points for playing with two point per game players.

Bunting also played three fewer games.

I don’t really GAF about the Calder or awards in general but I’m sure it’s nice for the player who wins it and if Bunting is eligible, which he is under the rules at the moment, he was the best rookie this season and should win it.

Anyway, here’s your Hart noms. Matthews should be penalized for playing with an overage Calder nominee I guess so give it to McDavid.

I think Matthews will win the Hart (he had a phenomenal season), but I think the Oilers are in the draft lottery once again without McDavid. Draisaitl is a fine player, but he's the Watson to Sherlock 'McDavid' Holmes.

McDavid should win it every year but he should definitely win it this year. Guy almost had an assist per game lol

And speaking value to team, Edmonton isn’t sniffing the playoffs without him, nor are NYR without Shitsturkey. Toronto probably squeaks in without Matthews.
