lol

If he has 2 years left, he needs to shut the hell up about his contract and hope he can play well enough that they still want him at all when this one is up.

LOL. He's gonna be loud as hell whether he's staying or going.

Just watch, this guy is KD cloned with Giannis, and add some more stuff in.

That may be.

Possible he ends up being the superior player.

But as I have stated, he can’t be a bigger prospect.

Translation = The Lakers will be looking to sign him as an FA in a few years. lol
Precisely TJF12. You took the thought right out of my head before I got a chance to post it. No worries, its all good and that was a really good research session I had figuring-out where all of that talk got started. Thus the tome I posted but now I know that it'll be a case exactly as you stated "in a few years"!! Yes!!

Draymond is aging. Draymond is not LeBron.

No one said he is.

Kerr benched him in Game 4 of the Finals.

And? He still was a big part of why they won.

Draymond stated that he wants to miss Warriors games to see LeBron break Kareem's scoring record.

I'm sure just about every player in the league would do that if they could. Heck, considering the respect they have for each other from facing each other in the finals, Steph, Klay and anyone else left from then would like to as well.

Draymond punched a teammate. He is facing discipline.

He's not the first and he won't be the last.

An article came out yesterday that Jordan Poole has an attitude problem this year. Steve Kerr, Curry, and Andre Iguodala strongly refuted it. They said it was completely false. Either Chris Haynes, the author of the article, completely made it up or there was a source. If there is a source, who is the likely source?

Articles get written all the time without sources. If they don't name the source, I tend not to give it much credibility.

What would you expect Kerr and Iggy to say..."Yeah, Jordan Poole is an asshole"?

Not saying he does have an attitude, but a head coach and veteran teammate like Iggy aren't going to acknowledge it if he did.

I don’t have much respect for Draymond based on some things I have seen him do on the court, but getting in a fight in practice? Big deal, doesn’t mean much. If anyrhing it shows they both care. You see Kyrie ever getting into a fight? No.

Yep, and that's why it's likely they will squash this and it won't be an issue.

Guys who don't care, don't fight.

Guys who care, sometimes do.

Honestly?

That isn’t possible.

LeBron was hyped for years before he got to the league.

As great a prospect as Vic is, it is already too late for him to be a bigger deal than LeBron as a prospect.
Yep Bron was labeled The King as a sophomore in high school. They had to move games to a college arena bc everyone and their mom came to games. There will be no one ever to have as much pressure as Lebron did coming into the league. The only player to come close was probably Kareem (probably a couple others too) and that was after UCLA.

The closest I can think of might be Magic Johnson who was given the nickname Magic while still in high school. But the NBA wasn't nearly as popular then as when Lebron came into the league and there wasn't as much sports coverage.

The only other athlete that I can think of that may have gotten anywhere close is Bryce Harper.
Kareem was another one

Stop acting like he's a bum and we'd win more without him. Dude was going to win DPOY again last year before he got hurt. He helped them win all year including the playoffs, he had a bad game.

Probably, but that was a loooooong time ago. lol
Exactly you can't compare hype now vs then. In fact, you can make a case that the new phenom is actually more hyped than LeBron....when he was in high school there wasn't social media and memes and TikTok highlights heck there wasn't even iPhones yet

No one said he is.

LOL. You're the one who brought up LeBron as an example as to why age might not be a concern for Draymond.

And? He still was a big part of why they won.

He was ineffective and a big reason they were down 2-1. Thank God that Kerr finally realized it and benched him before they went down 3-1.

I'm sure just about every player in the league would do that if they could. Heck, considering the respect they have for each other from facing each other in the finals, Steph, Klay and anyone else left from then would like to as well

Really? I'm sure that just about every player would not want to miss their team's game just to be there live to see LeBron break a record. I'm not aware of any other player saying what Draymond said.

He's not the first and he won't be the last.

True, but I think it is rare that someone punches a teammate. I would guess that most players haven't. It was not a good thing.

I trust Kerr, Curry, and Iguodala when they say that Poole does not have an attitude problem and that the report was completely bogus.

It's kind of like Lebron...every year some folks say this is the year he's done, then he goes out and plays at an all-star level. If he keeps playing, those folks will eventually be right. But until then... lol

This is what you said about Draymond and age.

Well, he was really having a bad series up to that point, and he was a big reason they were down 2-1 and about to go down 3-1. Sure, they'll be worse off if they simply got rid of him right now, but he's going to be here for a while. I just want him gone ASAP. I'll have to be patient because we're stuck with him for 2 years. Hopefully, he hasn't driven Poole away by that time.

LOL. You're the one who brought up LeBron as an example as to why age might not be a concern for Draymond.

You do understand that saying he may still be a good player past his prime isn't saying he's Lebron, right?

Or have I given you too much credit?

Lamar Odom had a skillset that was very similar to Magic Johnson....

Oops, quick you better post an LOL that I said Lamar Odom is Magic Johnson.

He was ineffective and a big reason they were down 2-1. Thank God that Kerr finally realized it and benched him before they went down 3-1.

And then he adjusted and was big part of why they won. Sorry you missed the rest of the series.

Really? I'm sure that just about every player would not want to miss their team's game just to be there live to see LeBron break a record. I'm not aware of any other player saying what Draymond said.

It's an 82 game season and many players sit out games for load management. Players are also fans, what do you want to bet that players who don't have games that day or whose games aren't at the same time, will be doing everything they can to be in front of a tv or in the building if possible to see it? He'll be breaking a record that most thought wouldn't be broken.

Of all of your Draymond beefs, this one is the dumbest. Something tells me that if Steph or Klay said it, you wouldn't be bitching.

Also, saying that he'd like to miss a game to see it, doesn't mean he's going to. You seem to be struggling with taking things literally. You might want to work on that.

True, but I think it is rare that someone punches a teammate. I would guess that most players haven't. It was not a good thing.

Then you think wrong. It just usually doesn't get out.

I trust Kerr, Curry, and Iguodala when they say that Poole does not have an attitude problem and that the report was completely bogus.

He may not have an attitude, but if he did/does, you know who you wouldn't be hearing about it from....

Kerr, Steph, and Iggy.

You know why?

Because much like when your wife asks if those jeans make her butt look big...it's a must lie situation.

I mean, you did see what happened in Philly when Embiid and Doc were honest about Ben Simmons, right?

And just to clarify for you...I did not just say Jordan Poole is Ben Simmons or that your wife has a big butt.

Apparently, I have given you too much credit.

I'll be sure not to make the same mistake going forward.
