I haven't seen anything that says so. My gut says ESPN's relationship with him is they just let him do whatever he's comfortable with. I'd imagine its the same with Dickie V and Lee Corso. They won't give them a full schedule for obvious reasons, but they tell them "tell us what schedule you'd like and we'll work it out".

I will say though, as great as Hubie Brown is, his age is finally catching up to him. It's been noticeable the last couple of years, especially last year, that the game moves too fast for him. He'll get lost every now and then, miss a few calls and names, but when the game slows down during a stoppage or whatever, he can still give you some good insight

Pull him out, and get him specific training to build some muscle so that he can try to prevent some nagging injuries that happen to big men. Also specific skills training. Nothing more to gain from playing like you said.
