Derek White is gonna start over Brogdon with Time Lord out?
I'm fine with either White or Brogdon starting... that's more a luxury than a problem.

The C's main issue is that their regular season roster is very, shall we say, "vertically challenged".

My big concern is over-taxing old man Horford. I'm fine with the recent signing of Blake Griffin in this regard... as you say, he's ok to sop up some regular season minutes.

Boston probably gonna have to sacrifice some regular season wins to manage their roster properly and try to keep guys healthy for the long haul... which is fine.

In the end... the playoffs are what matters.

as long as they end up a top 3 seed. Extremely rare to win outside that.

I have a little doubts about the C's talent, as long as they're healthy. With Tatum and Brown firmly into the prime of their careers, Boston is a heavy weight contender.

The health is the much more important thing to try to balance.

All of that said: the East is very strong this year... it'll be interesting.

I feel the same way about the Lakers.

Mostly.

Giannis wins 1 on 1.

LeBron is past his prime.

But, beating somebody 1 on 1 does not necessarily mean they are better at basketball.

I know a lot of guys who are great 1 on 1, but I wouldn’t want them on my 5 on 5 team.

Not saying that is the case with Giannis/LeBron, but just wanted to make sure you were asking the question you meant to ask.

There are some similarities with regards to health management and having a roster that is (arguably) better for playoff basketball...

... that being said, the Celtics are in a lot better shape for both the short term and long term.

Russell Westbrook is a huge albatross around the Lakers neck.

Brogdon gives you the play making that Marcus lacks.

White and Blake can create for the 2nd unit.

He only has 1 good leg. But, BG is still a good passer.

Just keep him below 20mpg and he can help.

Can think of a couple possible reasons White will be starting over Brogdon but not really sure. These are all guesses. And I'm not all that familiar with Brogdon's game.

White knows the offense better. The Celtics wants Brogdon to lead the bench unit. White's a better defender.

As far as Blake. Not expecting much outta him. Not sure how much he has left in the tank.

Thoughts on Moses Brown?

I've only actually watched him play once before yesterday.

It was when he was with OKC and he lit the Clippers up.

He seemed a bit more graceful yesterday.

But, the competition was lacking.

I think we need another 5.

Also: I love fake Lamelo Ball, Preston.

If his shot starts falling, he's got a chance.

Really good passer already.
Solid hustle player. He was really coming on in CLE. He has potential to be a nice backup center
