Do you know off the top of your head what picks they have to combine with them?
Yes.

But, only because I just mentioned it yesterday.

2023 and 2025 are potential pick swaps. So, can't trade them yet. But, they will have them.

2027, 2028, 2029 are tradeable.

Just not back to back, obviously.

So, by this Summer, 2023, 2027 and 2029 could get them something.

I don't think they wait that long.

I'm telling you, I can see them doing a pick and Morris maybe throw in Boston for Turner.

Brown isn't very mobile.

Love Diabate.

He plays like a walking foul.

Love Batum.

He's a small ball 5 not your fulltime backup.

...I'm tolerant of Zubac.

Don't love him and he's our only legit 5.

Sigh… He should’ve been the first OVERALL pick then. Stop acting like you knew he was a baller.

Even analysts were shocked when he came out hooping like he did.

And comparing who you found out from USC? Lol no shit Mobley was going to be a baller.

Weber State!
Dude...

Scoring guards from small schools were all the rage after Steph.

Remember McCollum came from Lehigh?

What about Cam Payne Murray State?

* boy was he a reach *

That too far back?

How about Ja fricking Morant from Murray State?

Again: Just because you were unaware doesn't mean the rest of us were as well.

After the Curry draft debacle, nobody was missing on these guys anymore.

We knew who Dame was.

Weber State!

A lot of people called Lillard a huge steal where he went because of his upside.

He was legit, and he was well known by anyone paying attention.

Was he as famous as Curry?

Of course not.

Part of the Curry mystique was that his father was an NBA player and he had those special NCAA tournament runs making him a household name.

However, I think if you were to look at actual scout grades, Lillard would have projected as the superior prospect to most I bet.

How exactly are you supposed to be able to stop this kid from getting off a 3?

* spoiler alert, he made it *

You don’t.

Contest as well as you can, and hope he doesn’t dunk on you next time down.

Lillard went 6th. That wasn't exactly steal territory. That was pretty close to the highest he was mocked at.

So, pray?

Man, I hope this kid doesn't turnout to be another Porzingis.

7'5 with these skills just seems to good to be true.

Pretty much.

If he is as good as advertised, you aren’t stopping him.

Just hope he misses.

I have this crazy acquaintance who coaches high school ball in Maryland.

Back in the day his team was playing Melo, and they were completely overmatched.

This was his game plan for Melo:

He told his players to back off him every time he got the ball and just let him shoot. Maybe even throw some insults in there. “You are trash Melo” as he is rising up for the jumper.

He figured that was his best bet to throw Melo off his game.

It didn’t work.

It's a steal in any redraft.

He'd not fall below #2.

Knowing what we know.about Davis, some might take him #1.

But, in real time?

Some of his harsher critics had him as Jay Williams as best, Jerryd Bayless at worse.

Not sure how I would prove this but I think psychologically that many scouts saw Steph and in their analysis of his defensive flaws and size they projected him to be Dell 2.0…an accomplished shooter off the bench that could give a team instant shooting but couldn’t start because he couldn’t defend his position. Just a theory but I think that’s just a little human nature creeping into analysis.
