That opinion isn't self-serving at all....
Dear GAWD....
Luke Kennard isn't even in the picture.
We go 12 or 13 deep, if you include Boston Jr and Coffey.
But, they won't get a ton of burn, unless Kawhi and George are taking a Snow day.
LOL.That opinion isn't self-serving at all....
Some folks said the same thing about getting Beverley. I think the Lakers are going to hold-out as long as they can in hopes of somebody else taking Westbrook in a three or four team deal without First Round picks. The Lakers will part with Second Rounders and players though. But we shall see. They aren't moving RW without a pick
I still dislike Zubac. In this era....you can go with Zu-blocka for 28-30mpg and say 8-10mpg with Batum and 6-8mpg of Morris at C.
Make it work.

I am sure the Lakers will do what's best for them Q as they have adjusted their demand to giving-up those Number Ones with only taking players back that will make them a contender just like the Nets did. So that is probably code for Westbrook ain't going anywhere this year unless somebody takes him with as few as possible future Number Ones.if you wanna take back non expiring contracts, sure.

What it means is exactly what the Lakers have said, they aren't giving up 1st round picks just to move Westbrook and they aren't giving them up for a trade that doesn't move them to contender status. Hence, while Pat Bev makes them better, he doesn't move them into contender status.
However, something like the Hield/Turner trade or one of the trades that is said to involve Bog, would move them into contender status... so for one of those, they likely give up both firsts...one to move Westbrook and one to get the players.
Obviously, they'll try to drag their feet and see if they can get someone to only take 1 of them. But, I doubt they can pull that off.
A true Hollowood-made drama right there for the viewing. Eh Q?
Celts' Gallinari tears meniscus playing for Italy
Celtics forward Danilo Gallinari suffered a torn left meniscus while playing for Italy in a FIBA World Cup qualifying game.www.espn.com
I do t understand why players go and play for there home country in the off season and they take the risk of getting hurt just like gallinari did here
But I think your career should come before pride for your country but that’s just mePride for their country is my guess.
yeah, the problem is that westbrooks entire value right now is his expiring contract.
Why would teams give up smaller non-expiring deals for a guy who is impossibly underwater right now?
I hope everyone in the league calls their bluff, mostly cause I wanna see Russ/Bev have to share a locker room
At $47 million, it's a pretty valuable expiring contract for a team looking for cap space.
However, if they somehow manage to make one those trades without giving up both 1sts, Pelinka needs to either be executive of the year, or thrown in jail for felony larceny.
I will be shocked if they manage to do it, but it's not like they have to do something right now. So no reason to give them both up right now.
That's your problem - not mineOh no! 10 years without a title!
You are proving my point.
I am 44 and the Wizards only title came before I was born. Quite a few teams have never won one.
Regardless of how many future assets the Lakers give away, they will still be back on top before too long. It is proven time and again.
The 10 year droughts Laker fans are forced to endure are everyday life for most of us.
I had my doubts from the beginning like everyone else - but when WestBrick said he would work with Lebron and Davis and that they had all agreed, I thought, well that might work then - the problem is, you can't really take a player out of his natural environment. The fact that the Lakers are about to trade the dude - proves to me that they knew that they made a mistake. Vogel was a pretty good coach really and took the blame in my opinion, but clearly he had lost control of the team, so that did not helpHe's a still talented player who does not know his own limitations and refuses to play within them. Also if he doesn't give the kind of defensive effort needed.......
