Who gives a shit about going to the conference finals or being better than your team if it didn't contribute to winning it all?

I'm certainly not going to dwell on the Clips first trip to the conference finals. They lost to the same Suns team the Lakers lost to, each 4-2.

Nah, the Nets filled out their roster and KD and Irving decided to work it out.

He started with the Knicks.....would be a nice end to his career and they could use him off the bench. Especially, if they deal a bunch of guys for Mitchell.

Well the Holmgren injury thoroughly sucks. I don’t think there will be any changes in off season training though. Basketball is a sport you have to play against the best to get better at. Just bad luck. Now I do think there is no chance they will ever play a game on a court with condensation issues again. No way to know if that was a factor or not. As for Chet, if he ever has a chance to put on weight this is it.

Mitchell, as far as we know, has not requested a trade.

I'm sure the Jazz would send him where he wants to go, if all things were equal.

But, with the amount of years he has left on his deal, I don't think he gets a vote.

Bright side: Looks like one of the teams he listed will ultimately be his landing spot.

Yeah it sucks man. He should be up +20 on his weight by next year or at least you would hope so. For guys that miss their rookie season and drafted high that does put a lot of pressure on them the 2nd year bc you don't want just a good season you want them to show more. We will see, still think the kid has all the tools but if foot issues are lingering for his size and skillset it can dramatically affect his play. He isn't a banger and even then Oden didn't last. Only one injury though so I think everything will be fine and ready for 23-24.
