Like that move for the lakers.

Clears out another 10m for next summer as well
Yep. He's a defender and a better shooter (coming off a bad season but career 38%) than the 2 guys we shipped out. Our version of PJ Tucker, gives us that dog mentality.

Surprised we didn't have to include a 2nd rounder....

Outside of losing Johnson and trading a 21 year old for a older guy, I actually like this trade for the Lakers for a few reasons.

1. Pat Bev is a dog.

2. Opens up another roster spot.

3. Didn't cost a pick.

4. Almost certainly means Russ is gone.

5. Lakers could have end up with Turner/Heild.

6. You'd have over 30 mil this Summer if you don't trade for Buddy.

7. Now y'all can stop pretending THT has upside.

He fucking sucks and this is a upgrade.

Beverley fits with Bron and embraces his role.

I know you are excited.

But, Tucker is about 100 lbs heavier and actually plays good defense.....lol

Bev does play D.

But, he's also a huge flooper.

I get what you are saying though.

Lakers vs Clippers gonna be so much fun.

Yep.

Okay, okay.....Bev plays better defense than just about anybody than AD or James on last seasons Laker team.

I know, I know.....that's a low bar.....but I am jazzed.....we needed an enforcer type and we got 1.

1-WOOOOOO!!!!

2-Yep

3-Surprised, thought we would deal a 2nd to get him.

4-Yeah, now that KD and Irving are staying......I think this speeds up RW out of town now.

5-Most likely IMO. And I'd decline extending Turner next summer and free up more money to chase a better option next to AD, James, and (happy dance) Hield.

6-Think we end up with him.

7-At 21 he can still get better and like Ingram, Ball, and Randle.....he just needs a chance.....he may get that with Utah.

.......and he embraces his role as he he villain and irritant.

He doesn't complain about shots.

Doesn't mind doing the dirty work and launching the occasional 3, which has makes at a decent clip.

Doesn't need the ball in his hands to contribute.

Wish you could have dealt Gabriel instead of Johnson.

But, maybe JTA or Brown Jr can fill that role.

Because no picks were involved, props to Rob.

This is a good deal.

Now, admit that THT is roasted, open ass.

All that he has upside nonsense was ridiculous... Lol

7. Is basketball blasphemy.

He's budget Robert Pack.

Athletic, can't shoot and plays no defense.

If he was 4 or 5 inches taller, maybe he could be a non shot blocking version of Derrick Jones Jr.

But he isn't.... which is why he's garbage.

He's a little below average defensively but he's 6-4 with a 7-1 1/2 wingspan. I think he can develop into a solid defender and if given the opp.....average 14-15ppg.

Gabriel is fools.gold, my guy.

He was on our roster before.

Tries hard, great effort.

But, he's like a 12th man.

Stanley is a legit rotation guy.

He's gotten better as a shooter and is a good defender.

Gabriel is break glass in case of emergency player....imo
