Like the PJ Tucker move for your boys.....

*Acknowledges Mecca's comparison, goes to suck thumb in the corner and hide from her*
Being fair, the Sixers were mentally soft. Embiid can get up in his feels rather easily. They needed a veteran like Tucker to add some toughness to the locker room. That kind of move doesn’t always work. Hope it does in this case.

Mark my words, people.....if THT gets the chance.....he will show what he is capable of and that deal could be a bargain for the Jazz.
Well he sucks as of right now. Lakers got value for him which is all that matters.

I think it will....plus the other moves and Harden looking like he has slimmed down a lot?

I almost want to call the Sixers the faves in the EC....

Technically, THT had value though, right? He brought in a solid role player and expiring contract (even if I hate him, lol).
He brought in a solid vet who was too old to fit the roster.

He was never in Utah's plans.

THT is garbage.

But, maybe if he wakes up and works hard, he can turn himself into Pat Bev.

Might require him to be out of the league first.

But, maybe.

LOL.

Harden definitely needed to drop some pounds. It'll be interesting to see a slimmed down version of himself...

They haven’t earned that. Celtics turned a corner in Dec/Jan when they decided to play Williams III and Horford together. They’ve been lights out since. Bucks likely beat them if they have Middleton though. And Heat and Nets still lurk. East is pretty solid. Sixers have work to do.

But yeah Harden pictures of late have been shocking. Looks like a teenager you haven’t seen in years and they finally lost the baby fat haha.

He was given a chance because your roster was garbage.

He wouldn't get off the bench on a contender.

I'm not saying he sucks.

He doesn't.

But, a 7 mpg guy is actually who he is.

Johnson is better.

He's better than Walker, Brown, Gabriel.

With that being said, he absolutely should not have been a obstacle in completing this trade.

Just saying if it was a salary dump/match, I would have preferred dumping Wenyen.
I see your points....Gabriel is now a C behind Jones and Bryant....but he could play a little at PF.....especially since Johnson is gone and Toscano is more of a SF.

Who is the THT guy you refer to? Seems to be someone on the Jazz roster? I have no recollection of him......:lalala:

Yeah, I'm not going to write off a guy who is only 21, is athletic and hasn't really had a chance to develop because of inconsistent opportunities. But I would say that this should be his shot to see if he can stick in the league. Otherwise, look for him on your favorite Euro league team.

LOL.

That's likely already in the works. Plus, the Lakers just opened another roster spot. Can now do a 1 + picks for 2 and still keep a spot open...
