Tough.

Could Bridges do more if he was more of a focal point?

Can Wiggins duplicate his season?

I'm taking OG first because of his stats vs contract.

As much as I admire what Wiggins has accomplished, he makes twice what OG does for basically the same stats.

They are all 25-27 years old.

So, I'm gonna go....

1. O.G.

2. Bridges

3. Wiggins
I'm going 3., 3., 3. because none of them is the 1 or 2 on their team.

Just the fact that folks don't immediately laugh and dismiss either one says a lot about them.
Because they are the 2 most petulant malcontents in NBA History.

They are chronically unhappy.

But, being crazy and being stupid are two very different things.

I really believe Kyrie has a screw loose.

Yet, he wasn't stupid enough to leave 30 mil on the table for his
" principles "

Good points. But I think Bridges has the most upside for me. I take a swing on that upside knowing at worst I have a great 3 and D wing that can be the third best player on a great team…just like the other 2 guys. Really close on this one. Literally splitting hairs. I would take all 3 on my squad in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I doubt anyone really believed he'd do it. But the fact that it wasn't dismissed out of hand is telling.

I remember talk about him taking a paycut.

But, that came from Derozan.

Monk was the guy I remember everyone discussing.

Same and even the Monk stuff came from Monk. He also said he'd take less to stay. If memory serves, even that was contingent on the Lakers giving him their MLE though.

Apparently Fox's recruiting pitch was really good as he supposedly took less money to go there.

Monk and his brother said it repeatedly.

I was one of the skeptics who thought he would go to the highest bidder.

Dunno if that was actually the case or if he was in his feelings about you offering it to Kyrie instead.

There was a lot of that last offseason

dj i believe or possibly shaqdaddy

So, as usual, ''Lakers fans were saying this'' turns into 1 maybe 2 Lakers fans saying it and the one quote that anyone found simply mentions what the Lakers have to offer Lowry, Conley or DeRozan, but doesn't say that any of them would take it.

Looks like some folks need to work on being less full of shit.

I'm sure there's more than one quote there. I just didn't have time to go through 16 pages. That was literally one of the first things said in that thread. You asked who said something and I posted the quote where someone suggested the Lakers offer the MLE to 3 guys that was never going to take the MLE

If memory serves, I thought the closer a team got to $10 million per, the less likely it was that he'd stay. The Kings gave him $9.5 million per. So it may have been a little bit of Kyrie...or maybe he was one who thought Kyrie would really turn down $30 million? lol

Yep.

More than what the Lakers could offer.

But, less than he could have demanded from Sacto.

They have a interesting roster.

Who starts next to Fox....

Monk, Mitchell or Huerter?

Is Sabonis the starting 5 or Holmes?

If its Sabonis, are you playing Barnes at the 4 and Murray at the 3 or will one come off the bench?

So then maybe find a quote where someone actually said what was claimed. Because that one didn't.
