Also not true.
The league needs villains.

I'm not opposed to the Lakers being good. But right now they are annoying as shit. They weren't good and yet they soaked up way more press and games than they should.
We won't have Russ....priority #1 is getting a coach and #2 will be unloading Russ.
It’s more profitable, better is debateable
That’s what the Heat are for
We'll see. That is just it though.
You can’t just unload him without either:
Taking back bad contracts that will hamper you beyond this year
Or, taking back mediocre players who aren’t helping you.
I am definitely not convinced that Russ moves. Sure, the Lakers will try, but it is far from given they find a deal that makes sense for them.
We'll see.
And I said we'll see which we will. You are making it sound like it is 100% certain.
It isn’t.
I think it is more 50/50 as to whether or not he actually gets traded.
Because I believe you are greatly overestimating his market.
And I said we'll see which we will.
Okay, whatever you say.....LOL.What exactly will we see?
There is no way for you to be right here when most of us are saying 50-50. Nobody is saying he WON’T be traded.
But you can definitely be wrong.
So pretty silly for you to be saying “we will see”.
Yeah, we will. Hope for your sake you aren’t wrong.
The Lakers need to somehow use Russ and a 1st to get multiple cheaper players, while also considering using Nunn/Tht and a first ot consolidate for one decent wing (or maybe just those 2 for Duncan robinson to basically play a taller monk role as the guy who shoots 3s and doesn't do a ton else lol)
And no matter what they do they need both AD and Lebron to stay healthy most of the year and all of the playoffs.
I'm aware health is always a factor but to me it's needing a whole lot to go right to even enter the discussion of a team that could compete for a title.
They got their title. Time to start over.
the problem is you are limited in your return for lebron due to his NTC.
he's not gonna let a team get decimated for him.
I still think GS is the best bet but CLE also could be a factor if they decided to do it before the draft.
Keep Nunn...he's young and could still be a good player for the Lakers. Could be the starting PG when RW gets dealt. And he doesn't make much.
