You're probably right. But as we always say with Lebron..."if there's one guy that can make it work, it's him". lol
It's basically another gamble like Westbrook. When that deal went down we said it COULD work, but it's a big risk. Well, the dice came up snake eyes and it didn't work. Same thing with Kyrie. There's a possible path where it COULD work. It might, and it might blow up like Westbrook. Kudos to the Lakers for swinging big on both.

How much choice do they have though? If Kyrie has a location deadset on, whether its the Lakers or someone else, it basically tanks his value. You'd have to be completely stupid (so...the Kings) to give up a decent package for Kyrie knowing he's just gonna leave in a year

Idk how he fits.

But for that price I don’t care

If he's healthy, its good. Celtics just needed a starting PG to just move things along.

Amazing deal. They got Allen for $20M/year, now Rubio for $6M/year.

If they can get Sexton for $16-$18M that would be a steal. Simons got $25M, Brunson got $27M
will never happen, but maybe we offer Allen, Levert, LM and a bunch of picks for Durant? Pretty much give them back what they traded for Harden. :noidea:

Always take the chance he bolts. Not gonna happen anyway but I would probably give up anyone on the team minus Garland, Mobley and Allen

The 4th pick alone is worth more than the Phoenix picks

Not from the 2019 draft.

Dropped off hard after the top 2.

There are some really good players like Garland who emerged, but the class was supposed to be 2 studs and a bunch of good role players.

1 and 1 might even be better for Sexton.
Yeah he can skyrocket his value. I would venture to say just a one year deal. Like I said, idk the Cavs plans or if they think they will get Lebron next year but it is more likely if Kyrie doesn't join the Lakers

Talking about some really late firsts here

3 of them went for pick 11 last week

The one difference is that, from a basketball perspective, Westbrook was always going to be a tough fit. With the stories that have come out, apparently Westbrook was a locker room problem as well.

At least with Kyrie, he makes sense from a basketball perspective. It very well could blow up anyway, but it won't be because he was a bad on court fit.
