Did Kevin Knox get a fair shake or does he just suck?

I'd give him a two way, or vet min, to find out.

He's a horrific shooter. His advanced stats make THT look good.

Basically in order to have the kind of splits he has in terms of 3s as to 2s you have to be Duncan Robinson or somewhere in the ballpark.

He's Duncan Robinson on defense and has virtually no game inside the 3 pt line.

Holy shit! How much less is he taking?!?!? Alright, now I’m impressed.
“Harden is committed to winning”
Yeah yeah believe it when I see it.
“Harden is signing for less”
Yeah yeah yeah 40 over the next 3 years
“Harden started his off season work much sooner than he ever has in his career”
Ok…paying attention
“Harden opt out and resign opens up much more than full midlevel exception”

Maybe this cat really is committed to winning. Great sign. Just enough to pump up my expectations to get kicked in the balls in round 2 again, ha.

As I have said, a picture of what he looks like when training camp starts will tell it all.

This is the first time in a while I've been really confused as to what the Spurs are doing. Keldon Johnson is good. Poeltl is solid. They had a high lottery pick with Sochan. Vassel and Walker are decent.

But I'm not sure what the plan is.
I think they didnt want to pay him when his contract was up- and they didnt think they would be that good the next couple years to justify keeping him over what they could get for him now.

with 2 years left he has value....with 1 year left his value starts decreasing.

when you get those multiple firsts and pick swaps that far into the future you just dont know how they might hit either--- at the least they get a kinda bad pick- but maybe they get a great pick. shit has fallen apart quick in better situations

@thunderc ?

Why?

Only way this makes sense is if he's willing to come back on a lower yearly salary or they needed to remove his salary/hold for another deal in the works.

He's a very tradeable asset.

I feel like it’s pay day with this Harden news. I would love me some Dort. Exactly the type of role player the Sixers need to get to the next level.

....gives you a lot of options to improve your roster.

What do you think about a guy like Dort?

I'm so confused as to why the Thunder declined his option.

I do think Harden wants to win. And he's probably willing to leave some money on the table but there are some obvious realities as well

Harden is not getting max money from any team. He's past that stage of his career. He could have maximized his money for next season but then he would be a free agent with nowhere to go. Now he can sign a 3-4 year deal in the 25-30 million a year range that will get him more money overall while giving the Sixers more flexibility to build the team.
