Only 3 days ago a Presti was saying he was assuming Dort would play out the year while they work on a contract. So to me this is one of two things. They either basically have a deal or figured out they weren’t going to be able to make one. The Thunder signed him on a two way contract and he has been a very positive team player. We will see.

@thunderc ?

Why?

Only way this makes sense is if he's willing to come back on a lower yearly salary or they needed to remove his salary/hold for another deal in the works.

He's a very tradeable asset.

I'm still stunned Tate is in the league.

Nice player for OSU but nothing special.

Good point
What are you guys hearing up there? Are they still floating OG in trade talk? Thought he had a nice series against Philly. He seemed to be the only guy who showed up in almost every game for Raptors.

OG isnt going anywhere. He was at the draft party and all. He is 24 . Signed to a friendly deal and is part of our plan.
I see the Raps trying to get 3pt shooting off of the bench. Maybe a sign and trade for Boucher now that we drafted a big man

Having said that, the only way he is dealt is for part of a bigger pickup.

Eh.

You don't trade those kind of assets for him and then let him leave.
And he played like what? 22-24 games regular season and 12 playoff games? Can’t throw your hands up and say “this didn’t work” after that relatively short period of time. After this year? No excuses. They have been given a nice gift by Harden that allow them to shop for nice role players that fit Harden/Embiid/Maxey. You can afford to get back $.70/.80 of value on the dollar for Tobias Harris because you shed that salary in exchange for better fit role players. Maybe you use Thybulle to swap role guys with somebody.

I mean...if we talking one for one even with Kyrie in crazy town I'd take him for Lowry SU
You know I like busting balls but Lowry is a great fit for Miami. Doesn’t need to score to impact game but can if they need him to. Good energy and leadership guy and a plus defender. Everybody has gimpy hamstring Lowry from playoffs in their mind with recency stuff. If he’s healthy Miami gets to the lose to Warriors instead of Boston.

Tucker for short term and Melton are good adds.

The tate one makes no sense to me

Hou should be looking to sell his ass. He’ll be collecting social security before Houston is good again lol

He's a hard worker who played his way into the league against all odds. Dude was a 6 4 PF in college. To opt out is.....interesting.

Same deal as dort imo

I just think Houston should be selling

They could’ve gotten a first for house and waited and we saw how that aged

Tate is a similar late bloomer

You’re trying to SD4V as it is.

Houston declined his option actually. Which I guess they figure they can work a long term deal?

If you had told me Jasean Tate would make the league but not Buford, Craft, Deshaun Thomas or even Jon Diebler I'd have called you crazy.

Did Kevin Knox get a fair shake or does he just suck?

I'd give him a two way, or vet min, to find out.

I think he just suck. Considering his struggles to get playing time with both teams, he must look like ass in practice
