I posted repeatedly that the Wizards weren't trading Beal for cap space, that there would have to be more coming back than that and that I have no idea what other assets would be involved because I didn't read the whole thing.

In fact, I never even tried to suggest what could be added that might make it possible.

But somehow I was ''seriously entertaining'' the idea.

If I think there is a real possibility, I say I think there's a real possibility. I said the AD trade was a real possibility and I don't think I've said that about any trade rumors since then.

I have said all along that I don't think that Westbrook can be moved for anything of value except in a very specific and unlikely scenario. I've even said many times that I think the Lakers best, and maybe only choice, is just to keep Westbrook, hope for the best and see what they can do with that cap space.

This last part is where I might disagree with you.

If you're blowing it up like Hiroshima, getting 6 firsts for Beal is a good start. But I don't think the Wiz are blowing it up since they could've gotten firsts for KCP and Kuz at the TD and didnt' do either.
