I wouldn't hate a trade like that (I'm a bit of a Julius Randle fanboy and like Fournier okay). But depending on how much cap space they would have going into '23...they might be better off just keeping Westbrook through the end of the season and see who they can get with that cap space.

Yeah, depending on where you are in the standings, agree, if its not for guys that put you over the top.

Every other week one of you is posting some rumor breaking down how the Lakers could trade Russ for Ben Simmons, or Kyrie, or Beal or whoever.

It is usually followed by “this isn’t very likely”

But damn man.

Westbrook is one of the worst contracts in the entire NBA. It isn’t just unlikely that he gets flipped for an all NBA caliber player, it is delusional.

Who else does this besides Laker fans?

Only people who have zero rational concept of player trade value. People like Hurricane. And you are damn sure better than that.

But if you Laker people keep spamming the thread with BS Laker fantasy trades, you are going to called out every time.

Randle and Fournier wouldn't be a bad return (Knicks probably have to add a few picks though) and add them to KD, Simmons, Harris, Mills, and Curry isn't that bad. They'd need some FA's but that's 7 solid players.....lot of guards though.

Nembhard is questionable

Watson is the perfect guy to put on a two way and develop.

He’s got all the tools.

Just needs to find something on offense
