Just another one of Hextalls crappy draft picks.
Haha... probably a future Norris Cup winner with an organization that knows how to develop "D"... can you say "Preds" ?

You cant develop players that aren't skilled enough, fast enough, big enough or hockey smart enough. You just get a bunch of at best mediocre players which we have an organization full of thanks to Hexy,

Flyers in last. By a lot. Scored out of 5, they got a 1.5 and the next lowest was 2.1.

There is nothing positive on the horizon here — it’s a big mess that will not only be extremely difficult to clean up, it’s a big mess that was almost entirely preventable when each major decision was made. The Flyers are what happens when a person superglues their hand to a wall because they think it’ll help them climb it. Now they’re just stuck.

Probably the only front office in all of major sports that would rank below the Flyers is the Browns. Their quarter of a billion dollar quarterback will be sitting for the first 12 weeks of his contract.

Precisely awaz!! I am quite sure everyone sees the same thing and WTFC is in over his head on any genuine attempts to actually make a difference and clean-up a portion of the "mess".

This upcoming season really isn't about where we finish. It's about installing a new identity to the team and finding out pretty much man to man who wants to be in the trenches when we go to war, so to speak. John Tortorella will be the driving force behind this and we'll go from there.

Anyone who doesn't want any part of Torts can gtfo in the offseason.

That said, after this upcoming season, why not fire Chuck Fletcher and hire the next young, hotshot, analytical GM? Someone that would never overpay your average free agent or hand out no-trade clauses left and right. Someone that makes wise decisions at the draft and when trading. A smart, tactical individual that is ready, willing and able to methodically rebuild this entire franchise from ground zero into something potentially dynastic. Give him the keys to the kingdom and let it ride.

The top rising candidates for NHL coach, GM jobs

That's not exactly a new article, but you get the idea. There are always bright, innovative people waiting in the wings to show what they can do as GM of an Nhl franchise.

That is exactly what needs to be done Maverick, but I wonder what the influence of Comcast would be because they would probably have to be convinced and would be the peeps shit-canning WTFC.

Bright spots? For this organization!?

Andrae and Forester (his line mentioned together) listed among the standouts.

I saw Andrae is staying in Sweden another year. Would like to see him add a few more lbs.

He is tiny and is not that great of a skater as well as being 20 years old still playing juniors so i wouldn't expect much from him if he ever gets to the big club.

Funny thing is I keep getting news feeds telling me how exciting this season will be. The organization can't be this far gone can it?

Of course we need to get a really high draft pick to add a star to our teams depth to go along with last year pick. But you know of course that we will be right back to the middle and screw it up. Probably be middle of the pack just like the Giroux years. Just my humble opinion doesn't mean it will happen.
