Not gonna lie, I am not necessarily happy about this season but it could have been a lot worse if James had sustained a serious injury at his age and RW wasn't happy about his role on the bench.

We are currently only 3.5 games out of the 6 seed and there are a couple teams currently in the playin who can definitely fall out. So the playin is definitely possible if we can't finish in the top 6.

Still hoping Pelinka pulls off a trade to try and show he is at least trying to make us better.
OK but remember in the NBA, if you're not in the top 4 seeds you aren't winning anything. The Warriors probably make the playoffs this year but they aren't winning anything either. Lakers are not contenders.

estate plan

oh man, the good stuff

You kidding?

It’s a huge need, smart place to get into.

I almost went into that but it was mostly small firms who…weren’t hiring during the Great Recession. Lol

everyone def needs it.

I started at a smaller firm where we just had me, a partner and a paralegal in our dept.

Now I am at a firm where we have a total of 10 attorneys, 4 paralegals and 3 assistants just in EP. We do a lot of complex work for high value clients. I am getting better at trust drafting. The revocable trusts are not bad. The irrevocable trusts that are for tax planning def. get complicated.

Yeah the smart rich people put everything into trust so they can control but not own it, and can like no tax lol

So apparently Tatum missed a game to attend his kids 5th birthday party.

The season is definitely too long

So the season should be a month long so he can attend a December bday?

Watching the Nuggets/Grizzles game last night the announcers said Jokic is the only players in the top 20 in scoring (18), rebounding (6), assists (3) and steals (13).

@WiggyRuss can answer this better but that's not how trusts work

It’s definitely more complex than that
Sure, the main goal of what Wiggy does is to take advantage of the legal ways to reduce or pay for estate taxes due on large estates. You can't avoid paying the taxes but you can set up structures to make sure you pay as little as possible. Some of that is by giving assets away (to trusts or charities).

Plus you can delay taxes for long periods

Yep, delay or use gift rules to take small amounts out of your estate that can grow to big ones outside of it (life insurance, stock appreciation)

It's a good racket for Wiggy

Yup. It’s fascinating

Unfortunate that things didn’t play out
