My Sixer plan that Doc will never employ:
You have to stack defense with Harden Maxey and Embiid.
Harden
Maxey
Melton/Thybulle
Tucker
Embiid
Playoff bench:
Harris Niang BBall Paul Melton/Thybulle maybe Milton if a team presents a matchup.

Watching Tobias Harris work his midrange last night reminded me that his talents don’t flush well with Maxey Harden Embiid. Dude needs the lane to work. Have him play most of his minutes vs the other team’s 2nd group and Harris iso and Harris pick and roll/pick and pop is the way to attack.

The most amazing stat out of last night’s unexpected Sixers win was not BBall Paul’s 19 points and 10 rebounds. It was 1 foul in 31 minutes of run for him. That’s been the piece holding him back. He fouls too damn much. Last night he was all over the court on rotations and challenging everything without fouling.

BBall Paul on the floor +21
MonTrash Harrell on the floor -10

Read the fucking room Doc you silly bitch!
Always liked Reed....

You aren't winning many games when you make just 18% of your 3's. Even when you only attempt 18.

Yep. They kept the game close enough, got within 6 I believe in the 4th, but again giving up open jumpers killed them.

I feel horrible for young players that play for Doc. They always play with an eye on “when am I getting pulled.” A young guy makes one mistake with Doc and he pulls them.

If Reed continues to play like that he will make the decision easier for Doc.

Nope....all those people trashing him after the first 5 or so games look stupid right now.

I'm not projecting him to be a breakout player, just a glue guy, the floor burn type that every team can use.

I don’t feel stupid. I still think he’s a fringe NBA player but tip of the cap to the guy with making the most of his minutes in a bad situation. Reminds of guys like Ish Smith who used the Sixers tank to establish himself as an 8th or 9th guy on an NBA roster.

I think he turns into a Caruso type.
Not a chance. This is just a lazy white guy is a white guy comparison. This dude doesn’t have Caruso’s feet or instincts. Caruso impacts games with his on ball and off ball defense. Reaves is a liability defensively. If the Lakers get into playoff games with him playing a key role in the rotation, every trip is going to be a clear out and they play Where’s Waldo with Reaves and continue to work him on every possession.

Oh I didn’t say the Lakers were tanking. That isn’t the intent. At the same time, they absolutely look like one of the tanking teams with the product on the floor. They’re 5-11 and have the 2nd worst record in the Western conference.

He may not be Caruso, but I think you're on the opposite side of the white guy trope, assuming he can't defend. Will he be known as a defender? No, but he can get the job done. He was the victim of a few ref-ignored push offs by Booker last night.

We all know they started poorly, but after that 0-5 start, they are 5-6, the last 5 without Lebron and only the last 3 with Bryant/Schroder. West best record is only 11-6. 3.5 ahead of last, 5.5 out of first with a lot of season left.
